@HardNews TV14 AC/DC Back in Black - probably STILL my most played album of all time. How can it NOT be! I'm a year younger - my jaw just dropped when I heard this for the first time. Parents HATED it - I was always good at computers/electronics and built my own HiFi at 12 (with a bit of help) but it had 50W woofers (12" across) and decent piezo tweeters. That's 50 RMS MOSFET watts per channel baby, not today's crappy amps! It would literally shake the glass in my window. Used it as a guitar amp as well. Waited until Mum and Dad were out, nearly deafened myself with this album then just lay on my bed giggling!

@@gypsyrocker Yeah, they weren't at the time! We're very close now though although they're getting fairly elderly. Love 'em to bits (which I did back in my teens too). @@joannecunliffe8067 That's a great song! My parents definitely mellowed out over the years, but back then, my music was just annoying noise to their ears. That is until I got my own car, then I took it with me. Haha. That was totally agreeable on all sides.
arguably the greatest rock album ever, think it still may be one of the highest selling rock album of all time with over 50 million copies sold since its debut in 1980. Bought it as a 11 year old and wore it out on the turntable, still have my original vinyl copy

Took my 12 year old son to their concert back in the late 80s. Stood in front. Speakers were so loud that the legs of our jeans beat back with every stroke of the bass and beat of the drum. Angus showered us with his sweat during a particularly energetic guitar solo, roadie lifted up my son over the barricades for a better view at another time. My son had an absolute blast. It was his very first rock concert. He was the coolest kid in school for a bit and I was the coolest mom.

Agreed! Reacting to a whole classic album would be cool, and if you could pick one, this is it. You've already done 4 of its 10 songs, so it would mix new with familiar for you. It's SUCH a great album. Everyone here is right--not one weak song on it.
This song is, and I'm being serious, the epitome of rock and roll. The HARD variety, that is. From the production to the BPM, it's never been done better. I implore the two of you to watch the River Plate video of FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK and try to imagine yourselves in that crowd. AC/DC inspired and embodied the primal essence of rocking the eff out like no other band before or since.

I saw AC/DC on their Black Ice tour. Absolutely amazing. My ears were ringing for days! The boys come out and give 110% for the whole concert. Angus does a solo for about 15 minutes, absolutely shredding the guitar! They finished up, said goodbye and were gone. No encore. We didn't mind the no encore because they had delivered the best show ever!
This album was my first ever exposure to AC/DC when I was in high school. Even when most of my friends had crappy cars we all had good stereos so we could crank up stuff like this. Now 40+ years later a friend of mine has a saying of "When it comes to Rock and Roll music there is AC/DC and there is everyone else."
Amazing that's bands roots go way back to my little town of Adelaide, South Australia. Love seeing Americans rock out to ACDC. Like we gave something back for all the awesome US music, of all types over the decades. I know we have other good music too, but this is the big one as far as bands go.🤍
C'mon Jay! "Whole lotta Rosie"! Live from River Plate! Absolutely EPIC!
This band was my favorite hard rock band and also the first concert I went to. I think "A whole lot of Rosie" and "The Jack" are killer tunes that you will want to listen a second time.
Probably the best overall rock 'n roll album ever made. One of a handful of albums that you can just put on, hit play and never feel the desire to skip a song.
For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) was my intro to AC/DC back in the day, have loved them ever since. I think you would really enjoy it. The cannons going off at the end just add to the awesomeness of the song.

Love that entire album. Wore out a lot of cassettes back in HS (I'd put the vinyl on those, then play the tapes to not damage the LP). Given the Dog a Bone is excellent for a lesser-known off that.
This is one of those albums that is perfect for a long road trip, pop in your 8track, or cassette when your getting drowsy and this one will keep you amped from start to finish
Just reading the title before viewing, 😁🙂 my favorite too, such a good song!
Regardless of ones personal taste, this is an Album that is hard not to love.
Tough to pick a favorite off Back in Black. AC/DC came roaring out of the gate after Bon Scott’s death. Just a ferocious album. A must-have for every hard rock collection.
A fantastic banger by this monster group! Every AC/DC I’ve ever been to has been so loud I was deaf for a couple of days after the show. Totally worth it! For those about to rock we salute you!!!
One of my sons, just today sent me a link to an AC/DC collection to which he was listening whilst on the 15 hour line-up to pass the Queen's coffin in London, and the first piece on it was this very song. He said he and the group around him, which included six people who had flown in all the way from Texas, have been sharing some of the saved reviews you have made over the past year. He said to tell you the new friends he has made in this long queue really enjoyed your music choices. They helped relieve the boredom of the 15 hour wait, and spread a little cheer in the midst of a somber, reflective experience. Thanks.
Man, when this album came out, heads exploded around the world. Nobody knew what would happen to them after Bon passed; well, this was the answer. Yoo heard them coming out of cars and parties wherever you went. It was a celebration of their existance. Glad you love them like I do!
My favorite AC/DC song.👍🏻 Seen them twice. Once with Bon once with Brian.
Excellent choice!! To see an incredible performance of this song, click on the “Live at Donington Park” performance of it… you can’t go wrong!! Great song, RSR Family!!
Great reaction! This song was used in Iron Man 2 at the Stark Expo and when you think about his company being a weapons manufacturer this is best song to use! I saw them live a few times and they use these cannons in the song For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) and those cannons are so loud you’re literally deaf for the next few minutes!

When Iron Man is flying around under the bridge and blowing up cars and running from those people and then come slamming down into the middle of that stadium was iconic
I'm in my late 50's now but this ole gal still loves to bang her head to this great band. I can't move as well as I did back in the 80's when we were ALL blasting AC/DC from our car stereos...but my head still bangs just fine...LOL!! If I tried to move to this music I'd prob have a heart attack...LOL!!
Have y’all heard the story behind Brian Johnson joining AC/DC? Apparently Bon Scott and Brian Johnson were both touring with their bands when Brian Johnson started screaming on stage due to appendicitis. Brian Johnson laid down on the stage, screaming, but Bon Scott thought it was all part of the act. He later told the rest of the guys from AC/DC about this, and how much he liked Brian Johnson. I’ve always found this amazing, because Bon Scott basically found the person to replace him after he died. True legends, both of them.
Malcom was the master at coming up with the main riff's. RIP Malcom, you will never be forgotten.

Your chemistry seems so sincere and organic, my prayer for you, is running the race of life like it's a marathon, but with the frenetic pace of a sprint! Much love and blessings.
I know reacting to ACDC Live can be difficult on KZread and I’ve mentioned this before but if you can, do this song, Shoot to thrill and High Voltage live at Donington - this is the best concert as they’re a bit younger. You will see Angus in great form on stage especially on those killer signature riffs of his! The whole band is incredibly tight - It will be a different experience - you won’t regret it!
Those guys turned the amps all the way up, went full distortion and just simply rocked, they were great.
ACDC was my first concert back in 1986 and what a show it was. I'd definitely suggest going to see them if possible.
I’m sure other people have suggested it but I believe one of the best AC/DC track of the 70’s is “Whole lot of Rosie”, it has to be your next AC/DC reaction🤘🤘
After Bon Scotts death many fans wondered if it would be the end of AC/DC. Then they released the album "Back In Black". What a way to introduce the world to Brian Johnson ! Not a bad song on the entire album. One of the greatest hard rock albums ever made.
The back beat is incredible. But I remember reading the back of a VHS rental at blockbuster once....and the narrative was....."if you go into WW3....this is the band you want on your side!" And it is true with so many of their songs...the adrenaline rush.
Really need to do yourselves a favor and watch one of the AC/DC concerts. Either DVD or KZread, whatever platform you have to see these guys perform a whole concert. They leave it all out on the stage. Would love your reaction to a full concert. I get fired up just talking about it! LOL Thanks for all you do! God bless you and yours!
If you want to give this channel another boost, do all the songs on Back in Black start to finish. Do one song a day. The album is banger after banger. You’ll be dripping of sweat before side B.

You guys are great as always. There's a musical moment that happened pretty recently that turned me, a guy who lets just say life and more specifically the loss of several people I loved before I graduated high school, from a guy who became pretty numb to emotion into a guy who shed a few tears for the first time in years, and that's Shane Hawkins playing "My Hero" on his dad's drum kit with his dad's old band and absolutely killing it and owning that moment. I have watched that performance at least once everyday since it happened and about half through the song there's a moment between Dave and Shane that is a combination of inspiring and heartbreaking and I truly hope for young Shane a healing moment as well but I just think you guys would be every bit as moved as basically everyone who has seen that performance. the first piece of music i ever bought in my young life, it was with my birthday money, ACDC Back in Black. back in 1981, it blew my 11 year old mind. i remember going to Kmart with money in hand and my mom asking me several times "THIS is what you want to buy?! you wont have any money left." "YES, THIS is what i want to buy" she shook her head and sighed a bit and said "ok" in a slightly disappointed voice. lol. i had been hearing songs from it for months and wanted it something awful. the moment dropping that needle on my first record player onto my first album and hearing those bells from the first track, magic.
thank you so much for finally reacting to my favorite AC/DC song. it warms my heart to see the younger generation enjoying great music
Head is exploding with some awesome memories from this, Oh yeah...Thanx for the memories, Peace
When I was on the plane over too New York from the UK when I was 12 years old. I came across Back in Black on the airplane entertainment computer/TV on my seat and listened too the whole album back too back for 7 hrs with no sleep. I feel in love with this band right off the bat and got awful jet lag off the back of it 🤣
AC/DC just don't fool around. They're comin for you every time. Yea, Brian is one of a kind. I get a sore throat just listening to him.
Back in Black was my first album ever, still great, every song. Shoot to Thrill is up there on the list of best songs ever.
one of my all-time fav AC/DC songs EVER!! love Amber's reaction just before she takes off her headphones!! awesome!
