Listen all, when these contestants choose a song, its not to copy the original artist, but to make the songs their own. Copying the artist would mean that the contestant does not know who they are yet as am artist. Ms. Jayna showed off her vocal style in the song. If some of you are seeing and hearing het for the first time, research her and see the different style of singing she does.

She made this song her own. She doesn’t have to have Mariah’s vocal range. By the way, most people don’t have Mariah’s vocal range. She is Jayna and that’s quite enough

She can sing. However this was rushed. She should have used a mic stand and just sang it slow so she can catch her breath for such a heavy song. However I like her. Her song choice is what’s going to stop her. She’s not picked a song that suits her voice yet.

This didn't do it for me. A lot odd note changes that weren't in the original song. She took a lot of liberties, and with mariah carey if you have to change it this much to sing it, then its not your song. Pick something else.
