Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (intro)
Фильм және анимация
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors 1985
The show featured two duelling forces. The "good guys" are humans, called the Lightning League. They drive white and silver vehicles with assorted weaponry, and are led by Jayce. The "bad guys" are organic green vegetable-based creatures called the Monster Minds, who tend to take the shape of black and green vehicles. They travel via large green organic vines which can grow in and across interstellar space, and sprout seeds that rapidly grow into further Monster Minds. They are led by Saw Boss. Music by Shuki Levy and Haim Saban.

@Smokey 420 Same here brother. I makes me angry that it has become a recent trend of some kids of today who like to get all PC and shit on the 80s like it was this racist oppressive time where only that no one wants to admit and that somehow we kids of that era should feel ashamed for praising it. I say to hell with them. It was a great time to be alive when it came to being a kid and waking up with a smile and enthusiasm. Unlike today's young people who can't seem to produce either from behind an ipad.

I think most cartoons today don't even seemed to be for kid. It seems like more for weirdo adults who still watch kids cartoons. Ill admit i do occasionally watch kids cartoons. But the stuff i grew up with. Not this uninspired new shit. Its one thing to relive your childhood. Its another thing to encroach on someone else's. @Chango Chilemba That idea reminds meg of an episode of Black Mirror, that is San Junipero. Something similar happens there. Nevertheless, it is a heartwarming idea. Never have I been happier in all my life, than watching these cartoons.
80s cartoon intro song: 'Believe in yourself and your friends! With the power of friendship you can do anything!' Modern cartoon intro (if it existed): You suck, you have no friends, don't even try. Just give up. Also everything is so ethically grey you're basically the bad guy.
The narrator sounds like Gene Okerlund and the music gives me journey vibes…I love it and I could listen to this all day!

@aaronbuffalo7769

ah the folly of 80s cartoons, they all relied on Toy Sales to gauge interest, thing is the Toys came BEFORE the show, so you had the models but none that represented the characters, so they had to scramble to make some but didn't take off, so it never got a nother series. IF WANT TO KNOW the conclusion had the movie been made : Had the movie been filmed, it would have provided a finale for the series, with Jayce and his Lightning League meeting the original Lightning League and being trained on the home world of the Guardians. Jayce would be reunited with his father Audric, but Audric would have been killed by Saw Boss as the Monster Minds began a final assault on the galaxy, and in a final battle, Jayce would unite the root and destroy Saw Boss, ending the Monster Mind threat forever.[1]

This is an absolute hands down all time favorite (no hyperbole!), and while some of the characters were a bit derivative this show was so, so very good. Every time I hear this, or pretty much anything Shuki Levy did for the 300+ cartoons he wrote music for, I get nostalgic chills on my arms. This song truly unites my magic root.
What sets this intro song apart, from other 80's cartoon intros, is when the song shifts at around 47 seconds. It hits a vibe that transcends through time and it gets me everytime.

I Love the 80s it was my time and seeing cartoons like these and hearing the intro music brings back the Good Old days for me..
This made me travel 40 years back dam I loved wheel warriors😔
STILL IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE GREATEST INTRO
80's cartoons were brilliant!
Victory over the changing form of SAW BOSS my favorite character 😂😂😂 man really miss those times❤
We seen this on UK TV SKY, Around 1987-88, Fun Factory on Sky, I was about 15-16, loved it, but i was also around of the times of later stages of swop shop, Born in 1973 i remember all with fondness...
Damn, I remember this show.
I'm still checking out this classic intro in 2021 and beyond. What about you? 🔥✊
Man thiz bringz bak so many memoriez! . N 4 those of u who grew up on thiz it makes u fell like no 1 would understand thiz if they were 2 watch it now .
Ahhhh yesss , Good old 1986 Elementary Days . . When Life was all about Dreaming & Living through These Cartoon theme songs !! This is what made me Dream Big as a Child - And also what made me think out of the Box (“As an Adult !”) 😊 . . Legendary Cartoon Theme songs that grabbed your imagination out of your soul and Levitated you with it (“Causing you to Believe that there must be someone out there in the vast galaxy that existed with these type of super human powers and technology !”) . . 😊 The Good old days
This needs a reboot someday! Voltron on turned out great and feel the other shows from the 80s need a new fresh start to save cartoon entertainment

Needs good story plot for the reboot, characters we can love and hopefully not cancelled. Thusnercats was a victim of that in '11 after 1 season
Best intro song for a cartoon ever!
Thank God for KZread you relive your childhood one of my favorite cartoons and theme songs im so glad i was able to grow upbin the 80s
This has to be one of the best intros to cartoons back then when I was a kid.
Say what you will about the quality of animation and voice acting in the 1980s, but the cartoons went _hard._ And they sure knew how to name their villains; I certainly wouldn't want to mess with a guy called *Saw Boss.*
Been looking for this for too long what a gem this was

I only remembered that I had a few vehicle toys with interchangeable parts. Stuff like that always takes YEARS of scouring to find wtf it even was :P
The power of these openings allways kick asses animations of the last decades
Man, I LOVED that tune as a kid. Thanks for posting it!
They need to consider making this into a movie
