Yeah, she was a really big star! But, of late, the way she is reacting with the papparapzzi invasion, she has not been liked very much! Everyone does it, she also should be able to deal with that! It's a part of a celebrity's life! She'll be loved more!

Kahan ka respect? Bengal ka jamai banke kursi dabakar baeth gaya! Never seen/heard him acknowledge the literary genius of Bengal, his father in law (vs. his father's handful poems, which he made everyone learn by heart).

Very smart and full of attitude. Like her English. Very few ppl speak good English.She was one of the successful Nd elegant actress. It shows she is original as no maintenance like other old actresses. She was beautiful with her round face and long beautiful hair

I was looking for a site or occasion to say something about Jayaji. To describe her "never before and never again" What a class. She has a class, What an acrtress. OMG. When she is on the screen i dont like to even blink because i dont want to miss any of her expression. What an expressive face. I am yet to come across such an actress. We live in US. I have an teenager. We watched her movies and my daughter, at this 21st century, said she is an awsome actress. I showed her all Jaya's movie, Guddi, Uphaar, Bavarchi, Abhimaan, Koshish, Silsila. My daughter said nobody can beat her in acting. I really do not have words to praise her. Jaya is awsome, very dignified lady.

She is extremely graceful personality talented actress whose talents glorified in movies like Donni meye,Abhiman, Anna data,Mili..Etc.Beside progressive careers in film industry she progressed in her political careers.But i personally feel she was too much strict with herself in her filmy career or may be her family needed her more.Her absence in acting deprived many of her fans to enjoy her outstanding acting performance and skills.

Jaya Bachchan is bashed only by those who are superficial and don't know she was a much better actor, much bigger star before Amitabh became superstar and it was she who used to defend him, stand for him, fight even rivals, haters who tried to put him down and worked with him when no leading heroine was ready to work with him. She supported him through thick and thin and was a devoted, dedicated wife who sacrificed her career for him. She is from FTII and a National award winning actor herself. Her only questionable part is her lack of bonding with Aishwarya it seems. She forgot she was also a superstar and much bigger one than her flop son. She is herself from a respected family and disciplined woman unlike characterless plastic actresses she is being compared to, to mock her. Harivanshrai Bachchan adored her as an ideal daughter in law. She is a devoted wife unlike a cheap plastic diva who drove her own husband to suicide. Bachchan is lucky to have a supportive wife like her. She is not just Mrs Amitabh Bachchan. She did iconic films like Mili, Guddi, Hazaar Chaurasi ki ma, Abhimaan etc. And was natural, not mere nachaniya or vulgar actress.

When she married, she was the bigger star of the two. She let go off her dazzling career when in her hay days. So, it's 'her' about whom people want to know from her interviews.
