That was 08 so I can only imagine how many songs he got now. When you see the list you'll realize just how many times Jay has popped up on a features and soundtracks outside of just his own albums. Yea Jay doesn’t have nowhere near that amount. And that’s even if you include features. Vulture .com did a ranking of Jay’s songs. He has 285. And they had to include the collab albums with R Kelly, Kanye and Beyonce. That was in 2019. We probably can count on one hand how many songs Jay has that are his and not features since then

Mike you were on a roll until you said Chris is closer to MJ than Kobe is to Jordan. The Records have to count for something. If Chris had a thriller all that Rihanna stuff would have been swept away. We can name 10 Male singer/ performer before we get to Chris. The point you missed is that Jay’s original fanbase and what set him up for ultimate success, was black folks.
