I listened to this song all the time when I first started dating my now wife. It was getting played everywhere but honestly I was listening to it long before it was everywhere. We got married in 2010. I definitely know my dates though, 'cause I can remember playing this song loud on my PC while we would chat online, as we lived 700 miles apart initially. That would've been it's initial go round, it's crazy that 3-4 years later, it was right back on top. Not many songs have accomplished that. 😎👍✌️

one of the most memorable moments of my life was when i was walking around the upper west side of New York City at like 11pm at night and i was feeling pretty down that day, plus it was super busy on the sidewalks so it was hard to get around, but someone drove by playing this song so loud out of their car, it was so amazing

I’ve been to NY twice before. Both times, felt like everything was brand new and fresh. I COULD NEVER, EVER turn my back and say NY sucked! It’s physically impossible, straight up! I’m married to the city, and wanna go back! Florida sucks, NY is my home and always will be!

I'm from San Antonio, TX, always wanted to go to New York. I remember when I finally had the opportunity and I remember driving into the state. I pulled over to the side of the road to take a picture of the "Welcome to New York" sign. Some guy driving a company truck rolled down his window and yelled "Welcome to New York B!" I was cheesing hard as hell and felt like a kid on the inside. Got back in my car and played this song the rest of the way in site seeing the city. Damn it felt good! August 26, 2022

I will admit that I'm not the biggest Jay Z fan. One day, one of my friends was blaring this on call. Alicia Keys caught my ears on the hook. Since I was playing GTA at the time, it caught my attention in general. Here, I am willingly searched this to add it to my playlist. I will admit, this made me respect Jay Z more. I have a feeling that this is going to be a staple in my playlist. We'll see how good it bumps once I climb in the car. 😂

This song will always remind me of riding the train from Stamford ,CT into the city. Yes, I know it's a burb of NYC, but the feeling in this song is always what I felt! I love this song so much. So, I’m from Buffalo, NY and I was forced to move to Florida in 2017. I have hypothyroidism and I cannot adapt to the heat here, I literally fear going outside during the summer because I’m scared I’ll get heatstroke, this song reminds me of the time back in 2021 I got to visit NY again and it was like I reached Nirvana.

I ADORE this song, I remember the first time hearing a bit of it in Men in Black Three and just falling in love with it!!
