Mock all you want but it was tik tokers and social media sleuths that helped solve the Gabby Petito case back in 2021. They literally assisted the police so much and actually found the location of Gabby's vehicle which ultimately led the police in the right direction to find her body. Also, his violent and criminal history is indeed relevant as it indicates what sort of individual he is and who he might associate himself with.

And phoned pinged half a mile North of Masca village which is where villa is. He rang from bar in village or villa location after he spoke to landlady twice after 8pm. She spotted him half a mile up 20 mins later as she said she was going home. Was home the villa which she shares with her partner. Lady in business next to villa said she never saw the lad.

I lived in the Canary Islands for 15 years, though never in Tenerife. But it strikes me as bizarre that someone could completely disappear in the Mountains of Tenerife. I've never heard of this before unless it was a murder and someone deliberately hid the body.

He was 16 when the offences happened in 2021. Seems to have been more like a street fight than a planned attack. I know it doesn't excuse the behaviour, but he was young and Tom isn't exactly a model citizen. Jay doesn't seem to have done anything bad since, and his current boss seems happy with his behaviour. These stories about him dealing at the resort have no evidence, So maybe people should give him the benefit of the doubt until the facts of this case come out, if they ever do.

Exactly. Experienced hikers know their routes and which areas to avoid. Not to mention NO ONE should venture into it without a backpack with some tools and obviously water. It gets very hot during the day and it's easy to get dehydrated. Also, no hiking after a night out drinking. Alcohol dehydrates and before you know it you will be disoriented in the mountain, which may be deadly.

Some thing is seriously not right with all this. How can a person just disappear. I don't believe he has headed into the mountains why would he???... Why would he go off with two random people. None of it makes any sense.

the kid with machete in his head has been to jail numerous times, robbing old people, car theft resulting in 70mph cop chase, drugs, violence and more. Search tom hilton accrington, court reports/documents and media articles. Also guy with machete had surname Armstrong, Jay didn't have it. But with that being said, I'm in NO WAY condoning violence whatsoever, merely stating 2 sides to every story. I'm a mum to 19yr old & 16yr old boys, thankfully they are good boys, but even IF they were in trouble or had been , they are still my kids, and loved by me & family, so I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I can't help but think we aren't being told the whole story, to be honest I'm not even believing the drug mule story completely, as anyone can type anything on social media, and IF he'd been taken by drug dealers, then witnesses wouldn't of seen him walking to try & get back. He'd still be hidden somewhere. Either way, sinister, or sincere error & misjudgement, if it's not a scam, it's still sad. *** Sorry for essay by the way, I didn't realise how much I'd typed.

All you MSM people knock us as 'Conspiracy Theorist's' because we have our own take on things, but they usually end up coming true don't they, then you lot end up looking stupid. Like everything in the country, you underestimate the people.

The hiker who was found was in California in Redwoods Creek. Different continent. Another theory not a conspiracy theory is the lad simply overdosed after a good night out or wandered off under the influence and became more dehydrated and lost.

The other hiker "found" during this search was NOT lost!!! Stop reporting on it as though he was! This is some awful journalism. The man clearly said in another article that he was NOT lost, and that this is being used to give a false representation of how amazing and meticulous the search teams are. Frankly, it's a load of bullshit. Spanish authorities are twisting the picture and painting themselves out to be hero's.

It doesnt make sense that somebody would choose to hike for 10 hours, in extreme heat, across rugged terrain, tired and dehydrated, with no phone, probably hung over, when there is a bus in a couple hours. It's possible, people do occasionally do stupid things, but when something is so stupid, you have to expect others to make assumtions that better explain the situation.

​@@trev1552 When you're on drugs you can also become overcome with paranoia and the urge to move / run / 'escape'. In that state, a 2 hour wait for a bus is unthinkable. You'd rather just 'get moving'
