I know right! I like how they were all belittling him and then boom! I kinda knew he had a shot because i know him from survivor and they like untie knots most of the time in survivor challenges xD but i get what the other players are saying. In survivor its more social gameplay and in here its who is the strongest physically. Jay is small compare to other guys. But we have Jordan as a winner and hes not that big. Cara maria is tiny but shes a winner. You never know with Jay. He has a potential to win. Hes having a hard time this season so i dont see him winning at all but maybe in the future season he might

I hate Rogan but it can't be understated that Rogan is a champion who was part of an alliance that controlled the game and made a smart move in pocketing CT as part of his own alliance who made a game-winning move for their team last season. Jay has done a lot in eliminations but if it's all said and done with red skulls to show versus a championship, anyone would take being a champion first.

Banana Rama yes, just like Ashley, Rogan is one of those people who is a snake and leech. They befriend people and get into groups where there are numbers so they never see eliminations. But when they face a decent player, they fold. That’s how they won their seasons was by leeching off other strong players

I agree, survivor is harder then the challenge. Like survivor is making your own shelter and food, and the mind has to be working all the time. So he is used to being logical. I would love to see Challengers or this generation of bb do survivor, they would crumble.

The challenges on the challenge I think are probably physically harder, but the fact that survivor cast members have to live in the conditions that they do is what makes it hard, not the challenges per se. Since you can win survivor without winning a single challenge

I agree but I think Dee is worse cause she has less of a personality than Rogan. At least- since he's like a stripper or whatever, he has some sort of personality. Dee's got something lodged in her ass cause she's been a bitch all season.

I don't get why people are calling CT overconfident for throwing himself down to Purgatory to face Jay. He clearly said in one of his confessionals that this might be his only chance to get the red skull, because if he doesn't get it now, when will he? He played the game, and lost. He respected Jay and gave him props, but CT was not overconfident, in my opinion. Everyone else was overconfident that CT was gonna smoke Jay in the elimination challenge, to have him beat the legend that is CT, and everyone had their jaws on the sand after that.

Jay did the smartest shit, intertwining the rope between blocks - made it a lot harder for CT than it looked, regardless if he was breaking the block or not, he still had to move them after so jay realistically made him do the same thing twice and wore him out

All respect and props for Jay, but CT didn't do himself any favors by spending all that time on ropes and knots that weren't that effective. He should have put a lot of heavy objects in front of the gate like Jay was doing. He gave himself less than 10 minutes on putting heavy objects in front of the gate. Mad respect for Jay on beating a seasoned vet on a challenge like this. This elimination to brains and brawn.

The part where jay literally opened it made me have chills

Can we just acknowledge that Jay actually KNEW what to do? Was smart enough and had a strategy? He wasn’t just lucky bc of loose ends, he could probably put the work in and win against many others too. 2 eliminations and won because of various skills and abilities not bc of who his opponents are 😏

Love CT but am so glad Jay won just to spite the house

Jay earned his stripes!! Amazing elimination and I’m a CT fan to the end, but stop all this “layup” talk. EVERYBODY has a chance 💯

I don’t think CT did his best in this, maybe he’s underestimated Jay, he need to be faster.

This red skull thing changed everything in this season, and it was a mistake to rush for a red skull this early in the game. As Jordan said previously that he will play the game normally and the time for a red skull will come by itself. Now the allies in this will play massive role like Jordan and Tori and what Bananas did when allied himself with Wes playing politics together at best. As for Jay he will not last for the final.. there is much more stronger players and many elimination to come as the game this season is so crazy u can’t expect what will happen!!

@@Neilharry uh did you not see him send CT home!!! He's not a week player! He's a strong player! He survived on an island for 30+ days! No one can handle that! Not even bananas, Wes, Tori or Jordan! Its not all about muscle you know!!! Never undestimate people especially someone who's played Survivor! Plus you don't eBay know the cutoff for the final! So it doesn't really matter

It wasn't a boring gameplay, it's just he was tired of all the childishness about picking sides. Ct has been neutral for a while which is why last season when cara thought he would be her alliance, he switched it up on her because he was tired of the alliance crap.

It’s crazy how the others were hardly trying to give Jay his credit as he was working, but rather assuming that because of CT’s veteran status that he’ll automatically win or know what he was doing as he was working. I’m super glad and happy for Jay for pulling off this upset!! ❤️

Jay is the male version of Killer Kam this season. Just racking up elimination wins in his first season.

They should also add something like after three elimination wins you get to go to the final automatically. Because they’re going to continue to throw jay in every guys week

They were hyping up CT so much in the confessionals it spoiled the finish.

i am sooooo tired of people being like “they’re a champ legend” or “they’ve been in the game so long” IDC !! SHOW ME U CAN GO IN EVERY TIME AND PROVE YOURSELF

I like both Jay and CT as players, but it was really amazing to see how surprised they were that Jay won against CT. CT's downfall is that he tired himself out too much while attempting to keep Jay out of his bunker. Jay played it smart and went for a different approach. This game isn't all about strength and many players forget that. Not many players can say that they beat CT in an elimination. Even if he doesn't win the title, he still can say that he won against the most legendary player in Challenge history.

CT was smart to use the ropes HOWEVER, if you watch closely all he did was tie a giant knot in front of the door but forgot to incorporate the door hinges. A smarter strategy would have been to weave the rope in between the hinges more efficiently

Plus Survivor Challenges more untie the knot haha so Jay is a ez chill pill for him haha

I love how they gassed CT up so much, painting the image that Jay had no chance at all, and Jay pulls out one of the biggest upsets in Challenge history. I literally jumped out of my seat screaming when he won.

I love how they were judging jay for getting the chain first, but in the end, thats the thing that held CT from opening that door completely

CT went out like Wes last season like Johnny the past few seasons when Vets gets too comfy and underestimate players sometimes it bites them in the but. If it was Derrick, Daryl, Abe, many others would have fought every second of the way

Marza Arza I don’t think he was overconfident. Remember: they don’t know what the challenge is about until they are in the playing ground. Everyone has to come in eventually. He doesn’t know about Jay, so he thought he had a good shot. It’s not over confidence at all.

I loved Jay on his season of Survivor. Plus he got pretty close to the end and was great in challenges. I felt bad for him when people were making fun of his looks. Incredibly rude and uncalled for IMO. Love to see him succeed!

Jay is a climber and could have beaten any guy in that first elimination

Jay strategy was actually very smart in regards to making CT get tired so he would not be able to open the gate before he did. He knew CT was most likely stronger so he had to come up with another way to win and it worked. Of course the others did not see it that way because they were too busy looking at his size and appearance. I was hoping Jay would win even though I did like CT too. I hope they will leave Jay alone now but I doubt it. I hope Jay goes far in this game and sends Rogan home. He is a bully.

I can never EVER get over this elimination !!!! Jay really shook us all. Loved it.

The ironic thing is, CT didn't play to his strengths here. His chances of winning probably would have skyrocketed if he did the natural thing: played to his strength advantage. Just stacked shit the biggest shit for 20 mins.

Survivor editing techniques made me know Jay would win. The edit for the whole episode was Jay=layup, CT=unbeatable. They really wanted the surprise. Very happy for us Survivor fans

The rookies are running this season. I love this.

I still think this is the biggest upset in Challenge history - don't count someone who looks weak out and even though I was sad to see C.T lose, I was just as proud of Jay for beating the odds

Feel everyone look down on Jay cuz of his sizes. I think he got skills and some strength. Love the way he battle against anyone. He is not bad rookies. Love how people underestimate him

What a terrible strategy by CT and a great one by Jay, he’s smarter than what he lets on, he deserved this win.

@@sasha5081 CT is my favortie challenge player. However I've been watching survivor since season 6 (The Amazon,) I was 5 years old. I just picked up The Challenge a few years ago. Survivor in almost every way is a more complicated game to play, CT is very smart, but this guy is right. Jay is a rock climber, so he's very good with knots, not only that, but a lot of survivor challenges in some way inclued untying knots. CTs strat obviously worked in the past on Darrel, but Jay isn't him. Which is why it wasn't smart for CT to use that strat this time around. Not saying CT is stupid, cause he isn't. This elimatation was very hard for me to watch. I love CT but I also love Jay. Everyone thinks he's weak, but for why? Survivor is pysically and mentally a harder game than The Challenge, and Jay almost won his season of survivor. All of these vets are underestamting him only bc hes a rookie, but just beacue youre a rookie doesn't mean that you haven't done harder shit than this in the past. I hope he goes far, and I really hope he comes back to survivor.

Jayyy really hustled for this one and that's Survivor spirit right there. CT is stronger but he underestimated him and he worked slowly with ropes and when he saw that jay is close to going in then he tried to really push it ahaha.. I love CT and this was so sad to me to see him go this early but also love love Jay and I am happy he proved himself !!

I mean he's on survivor.... Like they untie knots alot.. Also he's used to doing physical and endurance challenges with basically no food...and sleeping on a hard bamboo stick for 30 days. The challenge will be different because its alot of strength. But I guess his endurance will prove to be an advantage even though he is small in size

After this elimination elimination I give Jay mad respect and he’s definitely a solid competitor but with a cast of strong Guys this seasons I still don’t see him making it far especially when it comes to athletic and physical eliminations. As for CT he’s getting older and looks a little out of shape. Even though I love the man I think he should retire soon

based on the two season i watched jay he is definitely a top calibre player easy. they gang up on him and make him feel like an outcast and he still proves himself. majority of the people are trash and make it by on "friends votes backstabbing and twists in the game" most overrated player in the challenge is Tory.

I am still in shock! 😩

Even if Jay does not get far, he will be back in the future

What I like most from Jay is his personality, super contagious 😁
