Jay is a super nice guy in person. He sometimes comes to the MoPar Spring Fling. His show “Jay Lenos Garage” is the best show of its type and I love the fact that he actually DRIVES his cars and shares them with the public so others can see and appreciate them. Jay has done a tremendous amount to preserve antique automobiles that would have never been restored to working condition otherwise and educate the public on their history and the engineers and designers behind them.

Dave and Norm would always make it a point to tell people how Leno was #1 at the time and Dave always remained consistent when acknowledging Leno's standup prowess. What happened between them didnt take away his ability and talent. Im sure Leno respected Letterman for choosing the host path early on and was influenced by him.

@@bradleyboyer9979 now seignfeild has made me chuckle a few times, he never had me rolling on the floor laughing or dieing from his jokes, bill burr however has some of the most golden material to me. Seinfeld said something about how great isn’t so great and I’m doing a horrible rehash of the joke but it ended up with ice cream hitting the ground and what do you say OH GREAT but his build up made the punch line hit better But yeah I don’t find Leno funny in the least bit and seignfield is in this category of jokes, very pg with it. Maybe as an adult I enjoy adult humor Personally some of my favorites are Carlin, bill burr, chappelle, kat Williams in his hay day and same for Kevin Hart. And how can I leave out Eddie Murphy and prior. Also I forget his name but he died big dude named ralph something was amazing

Comedy from 30 years ago always sucks when you watch it today. When you compare it to today's comedy, they've already pushed through like 30 years more boundaries it just will always struggle to compare. Mind you, it's also hard to make clean comedy hilarious. And he never would have been given his opportunity as a dirty comic. I didn't mind this. I chucked. but didn't belly laugh.
