Jay Baruchel on existential dread and why he stayed in Canada

Ойын-сауық

It’s been more than two years since the series debut of We're All Gonna Die (Even Jay Baruchel), and the Canadian actor, writer and director Jay Baruchel is still worrying about humanity’s demise. Ahead of the Season 2 premiere of the award-winning docuseries, Jay joins Tom in studio to talk about his fear of death, how a children’s bible made him cry, and where his patriotism comes from.

I've always loved Jay Baruchel, his brand of patriotism is exactly how I feel about our great country. I feel proud everyday, especially when other Canadians like Jay are out there waving the flag.

what an awesome interview I was riveted -- yes you read that correctly - riveted to see where you guys were going. Loved every part of Tom's interviewing but just the stories and banter and Jay's story of his own Hollywood, There and Back Again - and his vision for how he wants to live his Canadian professional life phew, I think you've guessed that I enjoyed this immensely

Aren't I glad I'm in Canada "Jay Baruchel" I voted for that right about the Quebec question, as a British Columbian I'm glad you did, I also respect that fact, that Indigenous at least in British Columbia they now have legal rights for their Aboriginal land rights, that's something down there, in US it's like Huh? What are you talking about? So isn't that what movie's are made for? One would think and hope so!

Ai = intelligent automation....of tools, bots, cars, machinery...you'll automate the office using AI for repeatable tasks/processes. customer-facing work will require people until the robots are so refined you won't care if it's a bot or a person. note automation tools have been around for years the AI term is "new" and trendy...

I disagree with Mr.B. .Baby Boomers came of age in the best time in Canada's history. We had the best of everything: education, the arts, culture.and medicine. There will never be a time like that again.
