a lot of light isn’t really put on the efforts done by the coaches, people really don’t appreciate Javier a lot, but trust me, being one dimensional has never gotten successful for any MMA fighter and probably never would, as much as great of a wrestler and grappler Khabib was, his dominance and finishing touches to his training have always been because of Javier, I respect Abdulmanap from every inch of my heart but Javier is equally as responsible for Khabib’s success as much as Abdulmanap.

rarely known facts about khabib who is loyal to javier, - 6 pupils of khabib's father left him on the same day 6 of them were world sambo champions at that time, and they went to a team called "champions", it broke Abdulamanap so much that he wanted to quit coaching, then Khabib, Islam and a freshman named ahmad inspired him to start over. Khabib knows how his father feels, no wonder he is so loyal to Javier.

Khabib’s take down ability and superior wrestling/grappling skills made it hard for strikers like Justin, Conor and Dustin to ever really get in a groove because they were so concerned about the take down. They knew it was coming but couldn’t do anything really to defend it.
