I will have to disagree with Miss Pam about the difference between old school and new school teams. Every time you watch a sports doc, you'll notice that the beat writers and reporters knew what was going on but they didn't write about it. They all knew Jordan punched Kerr in the face but they decided not make it a huge story. The issue is that sports media turned into TMZ so everything gets reported. People always knew what was occurring in locker rooms because reporters had way more access than they do now and because they wanted to look out for the organization.

I don’t think she was referencing the media at all in her response, or commenting on whether folks knew beef existed between players. I’m my opinion, her focus was solely on past & present athletes & how they handle internal grievances w/ teammates. She zeroed in on the distinction that back in the day, player’s didn’t bring in guns or escalate things to a criminal level.

I like Ms Pam but I have to disagree that old school teams kept things in the locker room. The fact of the matter is there was no social media back then, not everybody had cameras on there phone like today. Now a days you can't even talk in public without someone recording you.

I really dislike when older people talk about how things were back in the day compared to now. Let’s not act like there weren’t ppl from locker rooms back in the day giving stories and intel to reporters and journalist…..if anything back then it happened more because players weren’t getting paid anywhere close to the way they do now and if some reporter wanted to pay you 2k for some intel you’d probably get it. Now it’s not the players but the front office that’s telling everything, that’s why ppl like Woj be breaking stories before they’re finalized.
