JAVAANSE GETUK LINDRI
Ingredienst:
1200 gr cassava/yuka
400gr freshly grated or frozen coconut
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Preparation:
prepare the steamer
add the frozen cassava
steam till soft
coat a big pot with some oil
also coat the pestle with oil
transfer the cassava
add 1 tsp salt or as needed
mash again
steam the grated coconut
remove
add salt and mix
melt 2 cup sugar with a little water
add the vanilla essence and stir
pour it over the cassava and continue mashing
add some of the grated coconut
mash again till smooth
coat the bowl with oil
transfer the mashed cassava into the bowl
press it down till compact
smooth it out
cut in pieces
arrange on a plate
serve and enjoy with grated coconut
