I just binged both seasons because I needed to see it again. This show is incredible! Admittedly, I got weepy at many scenes, but the one that got me almost sobbing was the one where Jaimie slugs his father and Roy comes running up to him and hugs him. When Jaimie lost it, so did I. That had to be one of the most beautiful, wordless moments in TV. Now, I'm hoping Nate suffers, but given Ted Lasso, we know he won't.

Not only were viewers everywhere stuck at home and looking for new TV shows to binge, but Ted Lasso also offered a wholesome and comforting tone which many people needed as the pandemic gripped the world.
