You gotta pray Luka do not take the 400m max, because chances are those young players, PJ, Gaf and Lively will likely leave. Other teams will offer those guys huge amounts. That has always been the Mavs dilemma. JJ Barrea, Tyson Chandler, Brunson, etc.

@@Timur21 Tim Duncan as a legit contender took less not by choice. I believe he just have bad management and Spurs took advantage of it Times are a lot different now. Most players know how to work through it especially role players. They rather have 40 mil in a losing team than 10 mil in a dynasty knowing their names wont matter much since star players take all the credit and media attention. Even if the Mavs equals the amount on role player offers, the role player might take LA, Miami, New York since those are marketable states You can also blame the media for pushing the Jordan marketing on players

Why do they keep forgetting markeef Morris won a ring with the lakers 2020, he may not be playing but his veteran presence is clearly needed. He should look to join the coaching staff
