@mwmjr83181 He is capoed at the second fret but only the the bottom 5 strings. Leave the top Low E string open. Then he is playing a d chord so it gives it a dropped d sound without retuning. I just stumbled on this song a second ago from a Will Hoge video if I get a chance I will figure it out for ya
