Damn this guy has been killing it for over a decade
This is a salve to the soul. I was born in ‘76 which would make you a big brother/ cousin. Total respect for bringing real music back, which is so sorely missing today. Peace, love & crawfish from the Mississippi Gulf Coast 😎👍
If you've ever been driving down an empty, lonely country road with nothing but AM country on, well my friend, you know exactly what he is singing about!!
The old country music was written and sang by folks who could sing and actually play an instrument, and most of us old country singers had to know how to sing and we weren't all good looking, looks weren't important, singing voice was what sold records.
Those record executives don't know anything anymore... I miss real country. THANK GOD FOR YOU JASON EADY!!!!!
Finally a voice to be heard, love this song.
Always great to hear Jason Eady regardless of the tune! And such a nice guy to sit and visit with us after a show in Memphis, TN!
Wow! This is incredible!
Hope for the world. Thanx J
thank you ! miss good country music .now days there is not country in so called country music .
women were all ugly and all the men were 40. That is priceless and hilarious. Jason keep on keepin' on, great music.
This is the best song i've heard in a long time. This is what should be played on the radios instead of this polished pop country crap
Stay the course Jason Eady.
Beautiful. Glad I got here. Great song. Great message. Good shit. Thanks.
Love this. Just saw Jason here in Boise with one of our local guys opening. Still plays this song. Great show!
AMEN! there`s little to no damn country music coming out today.
That's funny. I would've never thought to connect that verse with the state of country music today.
Thank you Jason. I saw him at Larry Joe Taylor's Rhymes and Vines two weeks ago. Him and Courtney Patton put on an awesome set.
Love this guy .
Love Jason Eady
very true statement right there nashville country is dead to never be heard from again. Instead we have nashville pop music full of fakes and phonies

Love the song and the story. A friend of mine sent me the link to your song after I had posted a song of mine "The Wyoming Waltz" on the Black Hills Musician's Association. Turns out my friend, Vince Stark, likes a good waltz too. Here are a couple of my songs I posted on KZread you may enjoy. Romper Room Rodeo Cowboy The Wyoming Waltz
Looks like Matt Damon and sounds like Randy Travis.

Who was he talking about?
The only thing that could make this better is if I didn't have to look at Cody's smug mug.
Think ol' Blake 'll see this??

Mr88natethegreat Matt Damon wishes he had that talent
Hurry.
I will call him "Hoagy Haggard".....:)
It's actually in 6/8 time. 6/8 is used in waltz's and blues because you swing the 8th notes making them sound like triplets. Anything triplet based is 6/8. If it's still straight 8th notes, its 3/4... But great song. :)

Also because the where the drummer hits the snare in this song (Album version) and where he accents the notes would be on 4. one two three FOUR five six.
your howlin aint much , country music bridge ,chorus ? drag on & on ... message good but song is likebevery other modern country ! sing it beyonce
This guy is great. New country is all crap.
Nearly 5 minutes talking!
