They couldn’t have chosen a better guitar player than this Jimmy, it’s worth the watch, he is mesmerizing!

I agree, but what is sad is that the best compliment he will ever get is "Wow, he sounds just like Jimmy Page". He is such a great guitar player, it would be nice to hear him come up with his own songs and solos.

That's because there is no one better. He's better than Page himself.

@DannyintheSpirit no, what's the point? You're missing the point. The point is that he's a phenomenon who plays better than Page himself. On the other side of the coin you've only seen him play in Zeppelin tribute bands. When have you ever seen him play behind closed doors? When you are better than the real thing, and so much so that you get snagged out of the second best Zeppelin tribute band only to be put up front in the very best with Bonham's son, With the 2 billlion guitar players out there why would he possibly want to do anything diffrent? This is his dream come true! That was a really dumb thing to have said. That something that a person says who has absolutely no idea of what's really going on.
This just makes me realize how great Zep was, they are simply irreplaceable.

I don’t understand tribute bands .. yes they have talent yes Jason Bonham is the son of John .. however tribute bands can and never will replace the original band nor their talents nor the LZ mystic .. I know JB is in another band with Joe Bonnamassa and others .. so take all that talent and create your own stuff Rock on!!!good luck

@@gregbeck8895 Off-topic, but, that’s how I’ve always felt about Kobe Bryant. Just because he was the best of the Jordan imitators doesn’t mean he deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence and placed at the same level as Jordan. You make good points about Jason. Sure, he can play LIKE his dad, but, that doesn’t mean he’s deserving of the John-like accolades he’s gotten since he’s been on the scene, going on 35 years now.

@@Fakename70funny how I'm watching a Zep tribute band and find a comment by someone who feels the same way I do about Kobe 😂. I understand he was good but he just tried too hard to mimic Jordan. (of course, if you're going to play like anyone might as well choose the best, Page and Jordan, right?)

I get what you mean, its perfect but there is no danger/threat of him going off the rails like Page could sometimes do. Live, I felt like Page's brain exceeded his physical skill level, but watching him/listening him go for it without pause was magical.

When I spoke to him, he told me that what I said was absolutely perfect; Me; "you can play Page's individual notes so perfectly that you know exactly what he does as a whole. All the mistskes he made live, you knew exactly what he was attempting to do, and you just bride the gaps. You use the only things that could have podsibly fit by the way they started finished or were in the middle. It's like you are thinking 5 steps ahead and make them flawlessly complete." Mr.Jimmy; ありがとう、ありがとう!私は彼が何を演奏したかを予測し、彼が見逃した音を正確に演奏します".
Jason in person is incredible to watch. He pounds drums harder than any drummer I’ve ever seen & never - ever makes a mistake !!!

What an amazing band this is! I had no idea that Jimmy Sakurai is in the band. To me, he channels and pays homage to Jimmy Page better than anyone else. Jason was smart to hire him. The performance is lacking something on this particular night. Jason sounds sluggish like he's suffering from jet lag. Oh, well. It happens.

Having grown up with Zeppelin for all these years, and seen them live twice, what this concert and set-list shows is just how great they were. For me the best rock band there ever was and ever will be.
Saw them last night at Hard Rock, Hollywood fl. There is no better tribute band. As close as it gets to the real thing. Best show I've seen in many years.
Have seen them 3 times here in Michigan, Firekeepers, outdoors at Pine Knob (they were the opening act sadly there were over 10 thousand people i had 4th row seats right in front of Mr Jimmy, seats all packed the grass hills behind us packed) and the Filmore downtown Detroit It was the closest to hearing the real deal wherever they are here again I'll find them❤🎸🎸🎤🥁
Wow this show was performed on my mother's 83rd birthday! This might be the best show I have ever seen them play. Sound wise, performance, jason in particular and the crowd just knows every stitch and note, well done! 1:54:04

I've got to go see them 😮. So many times I forget that's not even Page playing.
That version of "The Song Remains The Same" is outstanding. All they need to do now is: 1) add "Ten Year's Gone" to the setlist 2) play somewhere in New York City. Excellent post, thank you so much. Jason B. has come so very far since I saw him decades ago. Stunning, this.

MR. Jimmy is spooky good!
I had email conversations with Jimmy Sakurai over 20 years ago. Nobody in the USA knew him. I stumbled upon his website.

Between Jason Bonham and Jimmy Sakurai it's almost like listening to the original band. James Dylan does a remarkable job of Plant-style vocals. The rest of the band is solid/talented. Thanks for sharing.
This sounds legit - if you turn off the video it starts sounding more like the real deal.
Is that Mr. Jimmy!👍🏼
I was there with my girlfriend, we had a wild night. Thx heaps for uploading this.
There's videos of Me Jimmy playing and Jimmy Page is in the Audience Roxking back and forth in his seat Loving every minute of it then he hangs out and spend time together they appear to Great administration for each other Page Is Fully behind Mr Jimmy. not any of the other imitaters out there thats because Mr Jimmy is the Best all around at what he Does. Hes been studying Jimmy Page and has him down Really Good I think
Jimmy and JPJ are near perfect clones. Amazing.
I hope there is and always will be a band somewhere playing this music. If you’re lucky they will sound this brilliant. Jason, Jimmy and this entire band are absolutely stellar.
Thank you for putting this up! I can relive the whole night again

Okay guys... your assignment is to go out there and sound like Led Zeppelin. Not an enviable task and these guys do it in a great and enjoyable way. It takes talent and GUTS to pull this off.
Remember seeing Jason play the Fforde Greene in Leeds in the 80s. His band was too loud to appreciate the music but from this concert they all sound pretty good. Great vocals and faithful to the cause. Rock on bro.
I saw Jason in the 90s don't exactly remember what year it was ,at the Buffalo Rose in Golden, I just remember it was one of the greatest concerts I ever saw
It's hard for me to grasp that Jason is almost 25 years older than his dad. I'm glad he's out there celebrating his father's legacy by playing hi s songs, but, and maybe it's only me, but I just can't get into the guitar player who's miming Jimmy - especially since he's the only one trying to play a role. His playing is great, but I've just never gotten into that sort of thing, unless it's done as camp theater. Having said that, if they were playing near me, I'd surely be there!

Although I do love this as a whole, I was hoping the solo(s) on Thank You would be longer/more elaborate. The BBC Sessions version, the Page/Plant Unledded ones, or borrowing a bit from one of the many bootlegs. I seek out live Thank You solos, there is a Montreaux one that is rather great. But overall I love this.❤
