He made George look effortless to play, which is kinda stunning considering the different kinds of roles Jason has played over the years. Not just versatile, but very involved, absolutely brilliant!

Great interview. The complexity of George is unmatched thanks to Jason. But Chris Rock as George Costanza is Wild. 🤣🤣
That roll call list is jaw dropping. Jason took it the best way. ✌️❤️

It was the ensemble that was magic, but Costanza was the best character individually.
Well, Jason was fantastic in the role as George Costanza. I don’t think there’s another person on the planet that could’ve done a better job. I can’t even imagine Steve Buscemi in that role. As wonderful as an actor as he is.

I always wished they would have done a spinoff called The Costanza's. Some of his scenes with his parents were the funniest on Seinfeld. He was easily my favorite character on the show.

Steve Buscemi is a true hero. An ‘ex’ NYC firefighter with a successful career as an actor, he went back to the FDNY (I don’t think he actually ‘rejoined’ the FDNY, he just went back to work with his brother firefighters) to help with the clean-up, search for remains/evidence in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center horror. It suggests that they had a very clear intuition about what they were looking for so they could look through the Woody Allen silliness and see Jason’s natural talent. Someone might also have seen him before and had an idea of his range.
