Totally agree!!! Morgan is killin it!! Nobody can compete. You know if Jason Aldean says that…he means it. I’m all about the more the better from Morgan. He can’t miss!! He’s a talent to be reckoned with. He can write, play, and sing!! That’s rare.

Every time Morgan Wallen drops it’s an event, it’s exciting, it’s an experience that people want to be a part of. There are very few people who make that sort of impression in music, and you’ll notice they all do it in different ways; some only release singles, some put out EP’s, others pump out singles leading into a full-length album that doesn’t surpass 20 tracks, and then in cases like that of Mr. Wallen, he can drop a 30-track album and every single song does well. There is no real methodology to having a committed base of listeners, you either have great music or you don’t. Singles, EP’s, albums, what’s the difference if people aren’t trying to hear it because it’s not good.

I freaking love it. More bang for your buck as long as all the songs are good. And as far as Morgan and Hardy go, there isn't a song I skip so it's excellent.

It’s super smart from a marketing and charting standpoint. It cracks me up when people seem so shocked that Morgan has several songs on the charts at once breaking records (I believe) and I’m like if you release that many songs at the same time … I think it says a lot about the level of the artist if they can churn out that much that fast. I’d have trouble remembering all those lyrics. To each their own. No harm in it.

I love all Aldean’s songs. I only like some of Wallen’s songs. I support Wallen because he’s a fellow Hancock countian as am I. His dad use to pastor my church and I watched him sing in church at 5 years old. He comes from a great family. I got saved while his dad was preaching and got married in his grandmother’s yard. Of course this was before he was famous.

I’ve loved Jason Aldean music since his first album in 2005 and I have 45 Aldean songs favorited on Spotify … I have 52 Morgan Wallen songs on Spotify and he’s been out since 2018! Crazy!!

Morgan is a all-around top talent; writing, singing and performing - he is a true entertainer. It’s amazing he can still come up with unique songs. He comes from the heart and that’s why we relate to him. I love Jason Alden just as much and he shouldn’t feel like he need to release more songs. Quality matters. It’s true that not all Morgan’s are hits but he is all the rage right now and we love eatin’ it up.

Morgan gives variety on both his big albums. If you enjoy an artist, why would you be upset getting more music?? Morgan is running the game, but all his music hits those spots and you feel the emotion through it. Going through a breakup and so many songs on his new album help me get through the day to day. No complaints here!!

I agree with the sometimes it can seem watered downed! There really is somethin to be said about that quality over quantity thing!

If I like the artist and the music they are putting out is quality, then it doesn’t matter to me, if the album is a double or not. If it is just a normal 10 to 12 sing album, then I just look forward to the next one. If it’s a double album, then I have a lot more songs to know

At some point quantity over quality is gonna catch up. It’s also easier as a solo recording artist than for say a rock or metal act that writes AND records everything. Very few country singers are writing 100% of their own music and I bet none perform ALL the instrumentals.

I’m torn for sure, I really like Morgan’s albums and I don’t mind the length. I think it comes down to quality, for years I was always saying to my buddies “I don’t need 12 songs if you don’t have 12 great songs. Give me your best 35-45 minutes of music just make it the best you can.” So now a couple years later I feel a little differently now I’d say just make the best product you can, it dosent have to be long or short just make the best music possible and i personally believe the streams will come. If you’re trying to hit a different mark instead of quality I think that could lead you down the wrong road.

I think it's easier to do when you are fresh and new to the industry, but keeping up that pace without quality or something else breaking I'd imagine would be damn near impossible.

There’s no reason NOT to release however many songs on a project. The idea that you have to only keep it smaller - that’s a mentality from 30yrs ago. The fear of ‘filler’ is only at risk for artists who don’t have control over their content. If they don’t have mutual respect with their label.

I understand Jason Aldean's point of view about making songs is hard work. I don't agree with Jason believing that Morgan Wallen is screwing over anyone. Especially when Jason helped Morgan come to light in his music career. Morgan has the right to release the emotions into songs, and if he is helping his and his fans emotions through his music.......isn't that what music is supposed to do? Help heal people out in the world. Not all musicians are in the spotlight, but we sure do remember empathy and support from other fellow musicians. Kinda sad on how some people forget on how they felt going through things in life. The reasons why they chose healing through their music. It's not about a competition with anyone. I myself can write up to five to six songs and poems a day. And if my emotions keep on coming through, I'm going to continue to write more songs and poems. Keep up the good work Morgan!

I prefer 10 to 12 solid, mega solid songs, which Morgan Wallen has done in his double album. I love Morgan Wallen! His songs are amazing! I can't stop listening to him.

I love Morgan's 2 double albums they're full of great songs. I think some of these artist are enjoying there lavish lifestyle so much...they don't wanna put in the work like morgan has on his albums.

How can more music be bad? More is better!!!! Roll-on Morgan!!!!

Since I'm not a country fan, I've been wondering what the big deal is with all this success this Morgan Wallen guy has been having on the charts. First I heard of him was during that "incident" and ever since then he's been blowing up, and having me wonder if that's the reason for his success or because he is that good.

I think that artists like Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs who are extremely talented vocally, and lyrically are able to drop larger albums because making music for them is fun and somewhat easy. But I think that smaller names like Chase Mathew, etc, should not be dropping larger albums and they should focus on perfecting their singing and writing first. Because for Luke and Morgan, all of the songs on their albums are going to sound amazing, always. But for smaller names, focusing on releasing bigger albums will take their focus off of making better music, and probably wont get as much recognition as they could. That's just my opinion though, hope it made sense haha!

Morgan is just releasing music like the outlaws used to. They would do covers and drop EPs regularly. Go to any record store, you’ll find 34 Waylon and Merle albums. Morgan’s just releasing them all at once and I’m here for it. I dont think Jason is sour he’s just adapting to the new free market that is the country platform.

The more good music is better! Full, Stripped and Live are all great!

I will say that Morgan Wallen has has converted me into a new country music fan lol I am no music expert so take what I say with a grain of sand. I see many comments on the entire album having nothing but great songs. I will say the album is loaded for sure! Definitely not every song though. I pretty much listen to the album every day at work. No way do I like every song equally. I don’t have any kind of southern draw but for some reason I do when I sing along to country haha

I been listening to country music for years and my opinion is 10 to 14, because it allows the fans to embrace the songs and keep us eagerly wanting more and also give the artist a little break to be home with their family as well...

New songs are great but I also want to know these artists have a healthy life and healthy work/life balance, so the more responsibilities and healthy relationships they have, the less time they can spend on new songs, and I actually think that's a good thing! I'd rather see them healthy and happy than burned out just to meet some music quota!!

I agree with Jason. A 10 or 12 track cd is better because your fans are always wanting more. If you put out a double cd and it doesn't land. You are definitely having issues recording your next cd. I never cared for Morgan, but I can see why the Ladies like him. There's too many artists right now that don't even know what country is or what it even sounds like!

Fifteen years ago, country artists said the same deal about Jason Andean. I guess what comes around goes around. My opinion is similar to a farmer growing sweet corn and selling their crop at Walmart parking lot to sell out faster than the tail gate rested as a seat. They eat the produce but very few cared where it came from.

This was done in the late 70’s and 80’s, producers did this to get as much milk out of the cow before putting it to pasture. This lead to bands and artists going up like fireworks: quick rise, ohhh and ahhhh, then fade into the dark quickly.

Nowadays there are probably 15-20 writers on an album. Was going through the Cody Johnson album and all the songs I liked weren’t even written by him LOL! It’s interesting time we are living in for sure

However, many times I have liked songs which record execs decided not to include on an album but which I later heard. Artists record many songs for an album. From those recordings they decide which tracs to include and which to hold back. They could just release all or many more of them and let the fans decide what they like or don't like. We don't have to "love" a song to enjoy hearing an artist singing it. We like the artist and find quality in their music - if we happen to really love the song then that's just a bonus.

Those that can, DO! Morgan has the talent and he knows how to use it. Fans are artists lifelines. Jason Aldean, what a concept, you need to work to earn the millions you all are making, really!

Speaking of massive albums you should look at some of the dozens Ryan upchurch has released. He has so much more talent than most country musicians today.

I have always believed the record labels have controlled what is released for their own financial greed. In my day we would have to wait 1 to 2 years for our favorite artist to drop and album or CD and that would seem like forever. I support Morgan and those who want to be heard!

That's up to them but if they decide to release all that music at one time, they may not have great material later on within the life of their contract. Its like spending too much money at one time and then down the road, you have no money to pay your bills or have it for an emergency.

Things are different today. Morgan is definitely killin it but the fact that he's on vocal rest right now may just be a sign that it's not a good thing. Make a double album, give it 3 to 4 years to get all the songs out. These new guys work hard as hell and they're all great. But damn slow down. Morgan is going to leave a legacy as long as he doesn't ruin his career by doing it too fast. I love him to pieces and I'd be happy to support one song for 6 to 8 months... But how many does he have out right now? They're all good but dont burn yourself out.

The topic shouldn't be quantity but quality, and Morgan is hitting a home run in both areas. The songs themselves are very good and to top it off, who doesn't love a good mullet. 🙂

I love that Jason & other country artists don’t drop albums back to back. When it’s time to go see them in concert they are not able to play every song that has been put out and then sing the good ones from other albums. It’s sad. I know in the past I have gone to see a band and they don’t sing their most popular song. And it’s upsetting. That’s my opinion

The question isn’t about double albums the question is where are the songs coming from. Are they on the same label and how are the songs distributed among artist. If an artist has an eye on the song but another artist likes to cut it does he have to wait for an artist to pass on it. If you tie up 30 songs do you create a thinner market of availability unless you write your own. I may be way off don’t know how it works

Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs are merely utilizing a technique of Marketing knowlingly or not. In that, they have the talent to produce more songs than their competition. They are musically adopting a ''Unique Point of Difference'' to there competitors. Its all about the music and they are smart business men.

I always look at an album like this. There’s usually like 2 to 5 great songs, then the rest is filler. If you can put a double album out with great songs, then awesome. But if it’s going to be 2-5 tracks that are great and 20 are fillers, I’d stick to the old format.

I think about 16 or 18 excellent songs is fair. When I grew up, buying an album or cd was an experience. You could look at the artwork, read who played on what song, who wrote the song, where it was recorded, and by which producer, and the lyrics. You don't really get that anymore. I think a big part of what fans used to pay for is missing now. A few more very solid songs is a fair trade-off.

I enjoy 7-12 song albums. Then i can dive deeper into each one better and listen to all them more often. 30 songs albums are very long and sometimes the same sound. Rhythm etc makes some songs sound repetitive. Id rather have 10 good songs than 5 great ones and 25 down never hear on radio or anywhere really.

Personally, i feel if you drop double albums constantly it doesn’t give your fans time to really listen & really get to know the songs. I’ve been a Jason Aldean fan DAY ONE! I’m also a Morgan Wallen fan, but I haven’t heard the 2nd album through to where I know all the songs. Leave us wanting more. Not to much, but not to little.

THAT CHASE MATTHEW ALBUM LOOKS LIKE ALL 25 SONGS WILL BE HITS FROM BEGINNING TO END ,JUST START IT AND RIDE UNTIL ITS OVER HE IS NOT PLAYING, THAT KID IS HERE TO STAY!!!!!!!! I think these guys had huge catalogs before they were dropped. It took years before the music industry realized they were wrong with music and the the guys on the tail end getting signed to a label is a make up for what they thought would work. Someone can always make a new label or simply be great on the internet now. It would be nice if everything was blown up by the very good talent, but then again, it's happening as it has every couple decades.
