I love everything about this make-over -- fireplace, kitchen, bathrooms -- except the window. The new rectangle looks so standard and middle of the road, whereas the arch had some character and quirkiness.

That arch window was everything sad that it was replaced by something so common 😞

I really like the arched window but the owners didn't, so good on Jasmine for completely changing it to suit them. They seem very happy with everything, which is as it should be.

Shame to lose the arched window. The pony wall is annoying. The cured dolomite is an interesting choice. Where did the dolomite come from?

Prices are outrageous. I did bathrooms for my bed and breakfast with marble tile and curb less for a fraction of these costs.

Replace the window, not rebuild the shape and frame. The arch is great

Making any home be safer and more livable is one of the nicest thing to do. 😍

Very nice reno. I liked the much lsrger arched window as well. The one thing I cannot get over: As European still can not belive to change a induction or ceramic cooktop to a gas one!! Gas is so much harder to clean and dangerous too esp. with small children. I lile induction: as fast as gas, easy to clean, sleek looking.

Induction is for sure the way to go, not gas. No open flames etc….

Why are the curtain rods practically against the ceiling? Are the ceilings thát low? Why?
