@@camgrant1318 No. I beg to differ. I think they are actually doing the best job. No GS in the world will give you 8 min highlights on ALL the matches. They might have missed out on important points here and there, but those might not actually be highlights. I think they're doing okay and should be applauded. GO watch the highlights of any of the GS, or even the ATP and you'd see that they are the best. They even listened to the fans of the channel by putting the picture of the two ladies playing in the thumbnails, rather than showing you ahead of time who the winner is by the thumbnail photo. They're alright.

I'm not even surprised that Sabalenka lost. I don't trust her game at all. She rarely changes the rhythm, always the same balls, power shots, bashing the baseline with no control whatsoever, playing the wrong shots at the wrong moments, a lot of double faults and unforced errors. It's like she never thinks out there in the court. Just hit the ball as hard as you can and hope it's in. It's a disgrace for someone who's the world #3 player...

@Arishem the judge I couldn’t have put it better myself, comment of the day. Before I watched the highlights I had a feeling she’d lose. No court tactics or awareness. All I hear is this incessant screaming and hitting the ball extremely hard. She wouldn’t last five seconds in the film “A Quiet Place”. At this rate she will never win a GS! Needs a total overhaul of her game before she see’s any progress in the future!

Sabalenka is a Professional tennis player, not some girl 'hoping' she can compete with other pros. You are a dimwit. She nails those hard shots often enough, the trouble is the WTA is being filled with tough competition at almost every turn and so good players like her lose, but also win. She may not have a complete or all around good game, but she is consistent at staying in the top ten or higher. All top players win and lose, early or later. Idiots always bash others' weaknesses but will never face their own stupidity in life.

Since she changed her coach in late 2021(who’s now with Kontaveit ) …her results automatically started to go down hill . You said great, this is not tennis, this is hitting ball hard. Tennis don't play like that, when the ball is low you can slice it or get under it, use those angles, pinpoint your backhand and forehand, next things measure the court. When you serving placement is the key. I think I'm her only hope.

Watched this match live. Taking nothing away from Paolini as she played a great match but this match was on Sabalenka's racquet. Similar to Kvitova, Sabalenka often goes through many dips during a match. Her big game was not finding the court today. Instead of going to plan B and staying longer in the point and playing.g with greater margins she just insisted on blasting the ball. Unless she develops a better tennis IQ, I don't see her winning a GS.

Jasmine's homework is making her very bash-able second serve a little more tricky. Some angles, some spins, any kind of variations rather than just simply getting the ball into the other side, will do her wonder

Why people are bashing Sabalenka for her double fault and unforced errors lmao, Sharapova played the exact same game and yes, her DF and UE would get into her way sometimes on her match but jeez, I never heard the line of argument that "How could Sharapova ranked that high with that serve?" Mind you, Sabalenka has the second fastest serve ever in the women's game, so she has great serve but something must've happened behind closed doors that caused her to unable to swiftly serve like in the past
