I have played this song so many times and its so much better every time I listen to it. My husband could play the guitar picking for me. It was magical the way he could just pick it up. He has since passed and makes me smile how much we loved each other and loved this song together 💞 love song for a Savior was our song 🎵 It is timeless

If I was not so weak, cold, scared of being broken and growing old, I wouldn't need God's power, strength, grace, or mercy, and without Him, I would be frail... That's what this song means, and there's nothing more beautiful than the savior's love for us.

It means if he wasn’t so weak and scared then he wouldn’t be afraid of being frail before the Lord and let only God’s power be at work instead of him trying to be in control. THAT’s what it means. Best song of all time. Gives me chills the way he executes it. Timeless sound track.

I'm into lots of alternative bands n a few metal bands. My Christian friend introduced me to this band and this song touched me deeply. This is a very simple song yet it has such power. Every part is glorious, the drums. percussion is dreamy, the bass parts are sweet. The guitar parts are a joy to play, the addition of orchestral parts. A magical song. I love this like I love Sepultura, Iron Maiden, Rush, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Strawberry Alarm Clock. I'm off to listen to more Jars. x

I like all those bands you listed too, well not the doors anymore but yeah I get you, I came to listen to this as I am off to get my top teeth row removed, I feel very scared and frail, and I sure hope it goes well. Jars of clay I think are in my top 10 fave bands, rush, pink floyd, tiesto, etc etc keep the good taste my man oh ps im just starting to get not crap at guitar its so majickal !

I used to wonder, "How does *not* being weak, *not* being cold and *not* being scared make you frail?" Then one day the true meaning of this song finally hit me. Being weak, cold and scared is what causes us to turn to God for strength. If we never had any reason to turn to God, we would never receive His strength. And without strength from God, we truly would be frail.

It has taken me 8 years to tell anyone this, My stepfather, who treated me horrible as a child, was dying of cancer, I was taking him to chemo daily for a month, the final day came , I didn't want to show up. I was told " get here, he is not well", I did not want to come, I just had a friend buy this cd, I was listening to this song at the time of the call. It gave me strength to go and see him. He died that night, I will always hold this song closer than any. God Bless!

If only it was known how many times the devil wanted to steal my life but this song grounded me. It will be okay. Even tho it’s rough right now. We are frail, but he is there and we are not alone no matter what the devil tries and whispers to us. I almost would say I owe my life to this song, but I owe it to the lord who has this in my heart since before I could write. In my darkest times he brings this to me. It’s so powerful. Gosh is good

I first heard this song in'98 while in Teen Challenge in Pittsburgh. It immediately grabbed my attention. Since then, it has been the most deeply moving and personal. What seems like spontaneous instrumental worship, words can not express. Being a fan of classic rock, Van Halen, Rush, Ambrosia, War, and 70s funk, after all these years, this song has always been very deeply moving.

My cousin told me he was a believer, but one day while we were talking on the phone he told me about two men who came to his door sharing the gospel. He told them that he was a believer, and they asked him if he had ever actually said a prayer to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and he told them "no". Then he told me he prayed with them to receive Jesus, and he said "Bob, something's different". If you're a believer and haven't prayed to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pleas do
