I think you might be right. He was sensational at duke as a spot up shooter but as a duke fan I kept thinking scheyer was coaching poorly by not putting the ball in McCains hands. He showed flashes of brilliant playmaking and ability to get downhill at will. That along with his shooting I thought would’ve made duke a much better team and him a top five pick. Now he’s looking like he could be a sure fire all star caliber lead guard in the nba

Nah Markelle was extremely athletic and like 3 inches taller super long wingspan too, i'd say Kelle would of played closer to Russ with a better outside shot and more energy on the defensive side of the ball.
