Damn, it feels like we need to get out of these overcrowded modern Cities and move back into the Villages, closer to Nature, greenery, mountains, lakes, streams, etc.

Beautiful , many trees, traditional houses, small river, flowers and bird voices.

I would love to visit this village. Japan is first on my bucket list.

In the middle of a work demand I made the mistake of clicking on your video!!! I got lost between pauses and clicks to appreciate every detail, every place. I thought about going back to work again, but flowers started popping up on the screen!!! As an artist, I wanted to paint several watercolors at that moment. Oh meu deus!!! I am from Sri Lanka visited 5 times in Japan on short visits My last visit was in 2009 with 35 people ( 29 students of various ages and 6 School Principlas teachers) We visited Tokyo, Fuji Mountain and Village by the side Ice mountains, schools etc. I was a helping volunteer with Peace pal International Visited one time Osaka too, Shinjuku, Shibuya etc etc I love to visit again and now I am 62 years.

This is simply Heaven OnEarth nothing less.! 😊So Clean, So beautiful, I wish I was one of the resident. !

I don’t use “breathtaking” so easily/often, but this, this early spring view of Shirakawa-go! Thanks a lot for this spectacular vid. There are 4 seasons here in NZ too, but they are not so distinct as those in JPN, mainly because there are more pastures than forests (more grass than trees) in this livestock farming nation. How pathetic!

Thanks so much Jim! We have four seasons in Canada as well but the attention to details and framing of each space heightens the nature in Japan to a whole new level. Looking forward to visiting New Zealand someday soon I hope.

I have seen such beautiful surroundings and it’s my dear sincere wish entire villages cities of pan Asia India Pakistan Bangladesh Nepal Afghanistan and rest where squalor and misery still is there turned into these kind of habitats for human beings without losing their own identity you can create clean beautiful healthy environment surroundings hygienic and wonderful
