I actually hunted down that fish burger place to try his ginger ale (I had too many other things to eat to try the burger) and it was awesome. You could tell that his stall was mostly for locals and he wasn't used to foreign visitors.

I remember going to Tsukiji market a few years back with my family and tasted one of those tuna skewers (I think it was a different shop also selling delicious curry buns in one of the smaller alleys). I'm not a big fan of tuna but when I tried one of those skewers, I was so amazed by how fresh and melt-in-your-mouth they were. Definitely changed my view on tuna steaks from then. The market had so much character as well and there was so much to look at that I tripped over a traffic cone lol definitely an experience.

The shape of that kaisendon tamagoyaki is very special. I've seen tamagoyaki cut in rectangles and heart shapes. But I've never seen tamagoyaki cut in bamboo-shot shape. I wonder how they do it.

I was last there in 2016 and visited Tsukiji. I had some of the freshest and tasty Tuna Donburi that contained Otoro, Toro and Maguro. I think it cost about $20.00 USD and came in a set with Miso soup and pickles. It was a little place/stall with three stools. Momasan and Papasan were running this little counter. It was fantastic.

If you couldn't get out there at 4 am when things were happening, the wholesale fish market was honestly the least interesting part of Tsukiji (strictly from a tourist perspective). Mostly dodging those zooming trollies while the vendors give you the stink eye because you're not buying anything. It was really better for everyone to move the wholesale market and leave Tsukiji to the tourists. I had much more fun exploring the vendors in the surrounding streets so I'm glad all of that is still there.
