I'm glad you have overcome your stubbornness with trying to keep prices high. It really shows that you are still learning and getting a better understanding on how the market works. And it never hurts to throw boxes in the basement for a couple years 😂

@pokene I have been binge watching your content. I just placed an order with you for the first time, literally just now 12:22am cst. My 7 year old has sparked my passion for the pokemon tcg. So I'm fresh back into it. I loved the Japanese cards growing up. And our walmart doesn't sell them. So, I ordered some of those and Korean cards. Because I know he will love the artworks. I placed just an order for some loose packs since I've never purchased from you before. ( low risk, low reward). And if I'm satisfied, you will definitely have a repeat customer. Thanks for your content. It's very informative and inspiring.

Where are you going to check the market price of a box? I'm based in the UK so might be slightly different but was wondering if you check certain websites or are just browsing around to see what others are pricing theirs at?

Been binge watching your videos and they are fantastic. Not sure if you'll see this comment/question on a month old video but I'll ask anyways. One of your first videos of how to start a Pokemon card business you suggested to build sales by grinding selling Japanese packs. Since that video Japanese products have crashed like you have said in this video. Is that a strategy you would still recommend?

As an anecdote, your strategy of keeping up with market price brought me in as a new customer. Personally I've been resistant to the high JP box prices no matter what the market says, but still have been interested in the product. So If you had kept your prices higher you would have missed out on getting customers with this mentality of waiting it out for lower prices.

Good video to help people understand things. Some people will go one way and others another. But this illustrates some good business practices, if you can afford it. JP folks on FB are still doing their best to maintain and try for long term solutions. Not many do singles just sealed. But things will get better after time.

I appreciate the content as well, especially breaking down with the excel sheet and going through the different options. Pricing product is difficult when starting small and struggling to compete with larger sellers, nature of capitalism but we’re up for it.

Hi man, great content! 11:32 How do you determine the volatile market price of modern products? Do you just experiment on you own site, reaching a pace of sales you like, or do you look at other sources?
