The algorithm scares me. I've just spent a few days brainstorming potential names, and suddenly, this video pops up xD So the part where you talk about copyright regarding the logo... I actually have a question. What if someone were to use an actual Pokémon as the name of their brand and the Pokémon's official sprite as the logo? I know a store here in my country that did exactly that (Gengar, specifically). Still, I can't really imagine they got away with it without getting permission from the Pokémon Company. From what I've read on their website, you shouldn't use anything related to Pokémon in any way commercially without their approval, but heck, what do I know? :')

what happens if the name you choose is on the uspto but the status shows as dead or abandon? or in the name of a company that is in a different field that you arer goign to be in such as smoking tabacco and your going to do clothing/ printing?

I already have a brick and mortar store, I sell warhammer and 3d prints and do lots of other things that are custom like tshirts, laser engraving and all sorts. Would you recommend using my existing website which already has a small presence? or would you recommend starting from scratch? Most distributors here for trading cards do not accept online only businesses anymore since the boom. At least I have an actual brick and mortar store for 5 years now and already sell Games Workshop. I want to start selling retail products that do not require me to customise anything purely because I already have the shipping discounts and know how to ship, I know how to pack at scale and my company is already established and profitable. It would be crazy to start from scratch right?

You dont need a lot! Start with $500-1K because it will take a while to flip even that when you have 0 customers/audience

How do you finance your business? How many loans have you requested from the bank?

Banks don’t really give out SBAs anymore - you need to find a hard money lender in smaller credit unions but even then, that’s a very “early 2000s” thing. Private loans from rich people is pretty much all you got. HELOCs too. But if you’re taking on debt to start a Pokémon card business (outside of B&M) you’re going something wrong and need to watch more videos

@@dragonariusshinzo9061 go back to the older videos - we didnt start with a lot of money - couple grand and then used credit cards - we grew fast but started super small - should be videos on it - maybe 4-5 on the channel - its been a journey for sure

Its just a quick example. Hes a top level business owner, not a designer, and doesnt have time to craft a perfect logo with mass appeal
