I think not enough focus is given to the stress this guy has to undergo. He will always be under the scrutiny of the media, the public, and his wifes family, who have been emphasizing the sacrifice his wife has made (just look at this comment section), and be given all sorts of labels. So many female royals have been forced to leave the Japanese imperial family & forfeit their royal status since the formation of the Japanese monarchy, Princess Mako is not the first, she is only the latest of a long list of female royals who were kicked out, and she certainly won't be the last...unless Japan change this stupid misogynistic rule.
