My dream is to stay one night in every onsen in Kurokawa or Hokkaido. There's so many, I don't expect I'll be able to get to them all in my life. But I'd love to cover at least 1 city, or 2 towns completely.

Sounds like an awesome dream! If I remember correctly, some of the ryokans in Kurokawa had special plans that encouraged you to stay at a different place each night…

How much does it cost to purchase the onsen hopping and where can we purchase it?

When I went it was 1,300 for an adult and 700 for a child. I picked up the pass at the Kurokawa Onsen Tourist Center. I think you can get it at some of the onsens directly too but not 100% sure about that.
