what a man, what a voice......a prince with a wonderfull mane off silver hair and a body to die for. Will there ever be a Dimo again. My heart bleeds for his dear mother that colapsed onto his coffin, only child it is to terrible to comprehend. The father looks as if he had aged with a few years staying strong at the funeral......his beautifull wife and lovely children has lost a father that can not be replaced. RIP sweetheart Dimitri.

Aquece o coração mais frio. Soberbo. Encantador. A lista de adjetivos é longa e nunca dão a dimensão exata de Dmitri. Grata à publicação. O maestro, após a primeira ária o aplaude apertando as próprias mãos como um torcedor, adorei. Na penúltima, a linda canção russa "Olhos Negros" vê-se que o maestro quase voa de prazer. Quanto ao cumprimento ao integrante da orquestra, é protocolo cumprimentar o primeiro violinista da orquestra. O segundo também, se o houver.

I don't think it's coldness but the nature of the Japanese audiences in a concert such as this. What you are seeing is folks being reserved, respectful, polite and supportive and having been in such type of concerts over there they are not given to over the top emotional displays like you see here and Europe. They are enjoying this concert very much.

O voce extraordinara, sublima... Multumim lui Dumnezeu pentru ca ne-a facut acest cadou de va lasa sa ne incanti sufletele, dar .... imi este greu sa inteleg de ce doar atat de putin... Maestre Dmitry Hvorostovsky, mai aveati atat de mult sa ne cantati si sa ne incantati... De ce ati plecat atat de repede? O perioada scurta, pentru noi, dar o activitate muzicala cat pentru 10 vieti.... Ne lipsiti mult, maestre Dmitry Hvorostovsky! Sa aveti cale luminata, acolo Sus! Eu continui sa ascult aproape zilnic aceasta minunata voce! Sunt voci care nu se pot uita.... Pavarotti, Hvorostovsky.... mai mult decat perfecti, divini !

what a man, what a voice......a prince with a wonderfull mane off silver hair and a body to die for. Will there ever be a Dimo again. My heart bleeds for his dear mother that colapsed onto his coffin, only child it is to terrible to comprehend. The father looks as if he had aged with a few years staying strong at the funeral......his beautifull wife and lovely children has lost a father that can not be replaced. RIP sweetheart Dimitri.

Audience is very unemotional ; orchestra members never glance at conductor, that I could see; what is he there for? The music is soooo beautiful.

O maestro, após a primeira ária o aplaude apertando as próprias mãos como um torcedor, adorei. Na penúltima, a linda canção russa "Olhos Negros" vê-se que o maestro quase voa de prazer. I don't think it's coldness but the nature of the Japanese audiences in a concert such as this. What you are seeing is folks being reserved, respectful, polite and supportive and having been in such type of concerts over there they are not given to over the top emotional displays like you see here and Europe. They are enjoying this concert very much.

To John's comment : yes, its their nature but if you find Franco Corelli's concert in Japan you will find that they can be enthusiastic too. Pity they did not respond like that here.Maybe tenors appeal to them more.
