Heyo, it is me again! Eh eh eh~ I have three maybe weird questions and they are somewhat related as they mostly aim for 4k gaming: 1. Why do people want to play above 60 FPS, use graphics card software frame limiters etc on non multiplayer games? Like... I always just turn on vsync to have my 60 and that's what I feel comfortable at since it has has no FPS fluctuation while playing. Does vsync have a terrible disadvantage I'm not aware of? 2. I saw you recommend this dude going for DDR5 ram. But in your own Ram video and many others I have seen people recommend not to waste money on an expensive DDR5 board and kits at least for customers playing on high resolution settings. The benchmark difference is barely notable since one is so GPU bound. So was it general advice because you don't know what the commenter is going to use his rig for? 3. Did you see the latest controversy about the Silent Hill 2 remake and its (so far) given hardware recommendations? People on Steam are not happy to say at least. I felt like they were stated way too high on their website, almost nosensical combinations too. What do you think? Will the latest tripple A games for 2023 using Unreal Engine 5 really require top of the line graphics card to run decently and lock out most of the potential customer base?

    1. Some 4k 144hz monitors exist, also I think there is some evidence that 70 fps avg on a 60 hz monitor does offer a little less latency, realistically in a single player title it doesnt matter. So be honest I guess its mostly just to flex, I also just cap my fps and play on a 75 in. TV. 2. If I remember correctly he was playing multiplayer titles I think and wanted 360hz? So if he is playing at such a high refresh rate at a lower resolution most titles are going to need the better ram to reach those high refresh rate number, you can get high end ddr4 kits but then you are basically spending what it would cost to get ddr5 and at that rate you might as well go with the newer platform, also I think he was looking at Ryzen 7000 series CPUs which requires ddr5. 3. No I hadnt, but honestly I think its the unreal engine 5 forcing people to need a really nice gpu and not the people making the silent hill 2 remake. Everything I have seen come out from UE5 literally destroys computer.

@@LegitCamelRetro okay thank you! I mean... they have to make that shit runnable on console so there probably is a performance mode hidden somewhere, hehe.

@@nervsouly Yeah you would think, but also a lot of titles are optimized for console hardware, when making a game for pc generally the games arent optimized well because of the wide variety of different hardware configurations that need to work. Hard to pass judgement until we see it released though.

Sorry for the terrible lighting in the video guys, not sure what happened with the camera, but when I tried to fix it in post it looked really bad, so I just left it dark as you can probably just listen in the background anyway. Thanks for watching!

Next time turn down the brightness of your screens. That will help with the auto ISO control.
