Also should clarify Tanger is a Neroli scent not technically orange blossom! But I always think of it as orange blossom because scent-wise that’s how it plays on me. 😊

Tanger is my first and only Ormonde Jayne. I so do want Levant next but I also own PDM Valaya which I know is the same scent profile so I’m hesitating owning both. Thanks for this great video ❤

Hi Cherie, I’m in Adelaide, hot here too. I just received Rosendo Mateu No. 3 and No. 6 last week. No. 6 feels more a cool weather fragrance to me, but I loved hearing you describe the strappy dress scene 😁 Tea Tonique, Beach Walk, Guerlain Terracotta, Aqua Allegoria Pear Granita and Miller et Bertaux New Study have been worn a bit. Re Gypsy Water. I was watching an American KZreadr several months ago and she mentioned G Water. I was confused, but then in the comments it was explained why she called it that. Each to their own, but I’ll still be calling it Gypsy Water. 😎

@@TheTopNote I wore the No. 3 after my shower and then to bed. It’s not long lasting, but going to bed that’s ok. It’s soft and just a little bit powdery. The neroli is very short lived on me. It was a blind buy as I couldn’t find a sample of it anywhere, but it worked out. The price for no. 3 & no. 6 was too good to pass up, but after I purchased, the price of no. 6 almost doubled to the same as no. 5😳 Phew!

I'm so glad you have Epic Woman, Cherie. I wore it last week, and it still feels amazing. Everytime! It's actually now my favourite rose.

Thanks Pep! I feel this one has made its counterpart redundant in my wardrobe now. I think I was always worried that the incense might get too much in the heat and that the spiciness of EM would do better in out weather but I was wrong.

I need to try perfume rotation/ seasonal once. Is a bit overwhelming to choose something when rushing to work and perhaps that would help, also to ensure I use all of them. I love the perfume trackin system. I started the excel one too but I keep forgetting ( like logging things on fitbit or myfitness pal haha,). Here in the Netherlands, I recalle to have reached for Blanche Bete, Tardes, Evernia, Oud Maracuja, Victoria, Beaver, Neroli Nasimba, Rose Tonerre, La rhapsodie noire and Bistro waters for the gym.

Really enjoyed this video. Wearing Epic Woman now! I blind bought Fleur de Lalita after your recommendation and a couple others (I just knew in my heart that I’d love it) and I do just love it. It’s all I want to reach for most days even though we are in the depths of a Canadian winter. I’ve also worn Unue, New Look 1947 & Anamcara. Other stand outs from this month have been Tiffany Intense, Nuit de Cellophane, Chole Nomade Absolu & lots of No 5 in its various forms.

Your videos are so inspiring and peaceful at the same time. I got a sample of Diaghilev by Roja Parfums and I am addicted to it, one spray is all you need even on the coldest of days but I find it intoxicating!!! I will not be buying it any time soon as it is far too expensive, I have ordered inspiration versions from two different houses so we shall see:) I know that is not your cup of tea, just being fully transparent. Love your videos and your descriptions!!!

Cathy, absolutely no judgement here - and at the prices Diaghilev goes for I definitely dont blame you! I have about 20ml of a second-hand beatup bottle that I picked up for about $150. The bottle has been dropped I think and there are literally chunks missing. It looks like trash but the smell is divine. I could not afford to pay retail for it.

Some lovely fragrences you wore for January peris monte carlo does great perfumes I have santal du pacifque first time wearing it I was approached by a guy in the gym saying man do you know how good you smell instantly felt that big red face 🥵 😅 I thanked him told him what it was. Iv sampled gypsy water a couple of times and I think I mite perchase a bottle im starting to layer some fragrences to my surprise some are perfect pairing like today I had triumph of bacchus and layerd over with navitus santoral nuit ❤superb 👌 💞. Thank you for your video allways a pleasure to wacth .

Parfumo has a feature called "Assisant" that includes an advisor, a tracker and a tips section. Could be an option. The tracker includes both date and time and the text box in which you input your scent is conveniently at the top right of your account page. Honestly haven't used it much myself, but the tracker does include tabs for most/recent/rarely worn frags. Makes it easy for making videos I suppose. ☺ Appreciate you sharing Cherie! 💛

Really enjoyed this video! Although I always enjoy your videos :) I have been having fun tracking my fragrance wearings too. It is cold where I live but I went on vacation to the Caribbean in January and wore Pomelo Riviera by Atelier des Ors nearly every day. Wearing the same perfume so frequently is quite a rarity for me.

No I bought it here in Oz during lockdown in 2020 but your memory is correct that I said it reminded me of being in Spain 🥰 - yes I’ve been wearing it quite a bit this summer! I wore it a lot I’ve Christmas too. I really went off orange blossom and Neroli for about a year but I’m back, baby!

Hi Cherie, I need to check Epic Woman again, I smelled it in Oman a ton of years ago and I remember I liked it. The weather here in Germany is being quite mild, autumn like, I have been wearing OW, Libre le parfum, Material by Amouage, By the fireplace and Babycat :)

Well yes I'm in awe of you folks who are so organised and able to keep good records of perfume wearage. I literally forget a few hours after. I do like the Epics actually. The "Woman" is gorgeous, it has a bit of a rose milkshake going on in there to me. The Extrait version is nice but not all that different. And yes as a non rose lover it is a beauty. I would love to goto a sniffy. We don't get them here. Yes Sunshine W is rather lovely isn't it. Yes I also agree it's not light is it 😅. You've had a very nice smelling month there. Well done with two wears of The Favourite 🤣🤣 I do struggle with thst one. Like you in January a heck of a lot of Amouage dominated 😊

Found a great deal here in the UK on ebay, full bottle (no box) for £114 incl postage. Not bad, eh! Hopefully it's genuine, think so 🤞😅 Intrigued by RM no6 now, have no5 so far 👌xx

Hello Cherie, Many wonderful fragrances for the month of January! I am wondering what your thoughts are on Jubilation 25? It is still winter over here in Canada, and am looking forward to warmer days and not so heavy scents. In the meantime, I have been enjoying Carven's Izmir, Guerlain's latest Shalimar millesime D'iris, Rogue's Tuberose and Moss, Serge Lutens Chene, Frassai's Cuir Pampas and Hermes Caleche soir de Parfum. I love J25! I had a sample that I eked out for AGES and then recently someone posted a bottle for sale in the facebook group so I snapped it up. Ironically I havent worn it yet but the weather is cooling down so I think I will have to reach for it. I will make a note to do a review on this one for you as I think it is worthy. Tuberose & Moss 💚💚💚💚💚 Love it so much!

I sometimes layer a no 5 oil with Teone reinthal Lemon blossom so I get where you are coming from!!!

Hi dear I bought „imperial crown“ from thameen and peoble say its similar to epic woman ist insency and i smell Iris but there is no Iris listet😂 but i think its a more smoky version of Iris fauve from ateliers des ors witsh i totaly admire ❤

27:50 Paradisone is the 'purest' form of Hedione and was a captive until few years back. Not to be confused with Paradisamide, which is a fresh/tropical/peachy material

Not sure if you can politically correctly say Gypsy either. However, I am a huge boxing fan and the heavy weight champion of the world is Tyson Fury and he calls himself the Gypsy King. He proudly declares he is a Gypsy and lived the nomadic lifestyle throughout the UK. Love your selections and appreciate your weather struggles as a fellow Brisbanite.

I THOUGHT I was the only person left on earth that disliked Dama Bianca😂I just can’t wait for the deeper dry down when I finally like it. For me that’s waaaay longer than a couple minutes..more like an hour plus 😅

I don't know if you remember, but when I first found your channel, I found it fascinating that you were satisfied with a decant or travel-sized amount of fragrance...but I watched, thought it through...and have started ordering smaller quantities of s-o-m-e fragrances...until I know a fragrance is right for me. I'm still buying too many full-bottles...but I'm now on a "no buy" until I can catch up financially...and make a dent in my new fragrance collection!

Creed Silver Mountain Water . Maybe that was the problem. Should have tried something different on him. Interestingly ,my brother sat willingly and happily and let me test out about 6 fragrances on him and gave his opinions freely. I don't think he will do it again but it was worth a shot.@@TheTopNote
