I wasn't expecting him to die while the Girl was saved from severe wound! They didn't give justice to his character he never got any happiness from both sides and in the end he died in vain! I was literally crying

I love him.. without him I don't think Vincenzo would be succeed..

Lol without hanseo he and the rest of people in Geumga Plaza wouldve died. Hanseo was the one who called 911 (idk if its that number) and saved them just in time when they were drinking and unaware that there was some sort of bomb in one of the Geumga tenants' kitchen. Vincenzo thought of throwing the bomb outside the window, but he was unaware aswell until the group of people came.

True....even tvn released his two parts earlier at 6am before air the full epi at night at the late episode..bcz many of fans waiting his scene

His death hurt so much, I just can't understand it. His brother didn't give a fuck about him and when finally he gets the support and affection that he wanted His brother just took that away from him by killing him. It hurts. I'm in so much pain rn but I can't even understand why it hurts so much even tho it is a fictional character. IT HURTS.

Nothing bothered me more than the fact that his death was so unnecessary. Him jumping on his brother gave Vincenzo like 10 chances to overpower jang han seok but no Vincenzo decided to leave him instead. And if he was already gonna die they could've at least given him a proper goodbye, there was no funeral, there was no one mourning after him he was just gone in a second and everyone forgot about him right away. Really disrespectful and he deserved so much more... 😔

YES! I didn't dare write this in fear of rage comments, but like seriously? I was like WTF when Vinzenco prepared to leave with the lawyer. Hanseo was the one with the most fear of the bad guy in that room, but because Vinzenco was too preoccupied with the fl he had to fight nevertheless. And I want to believe that they all attended the funeral, but seeing how Vincenzo left the country in a hurry, I believe not...

He made the show for me. His acting was impeccable. The happy goofy moments to the sad moments with his brother. He made me believe and feel his emotions. He is young and should have some outstanding leads in his future

He was tortured by HANSEOK since he was young, HANSEOK killed his father and who knows, the mother, his father defended HANSEOK and even covered all the abuse HANSEO was suffering, his father didn't do anything so he learned that the only way to not die was doing everything his brother said, he was living only to survive and at some point at the beginning, he was behaving like his brother, to feel powerful like him, but he didn't like it and then he saw an opportunity to scape from his abuser and that feeling of wanting to be powerful like his brother just to beat him, VINCENZO was the only one that could help him get away, and also Tha only one that treated him like a little bro and like a friend, he became happy to see how a real family should be so he gave all his loyalty to VINCENZO, and VINCENZO became close with him, I love this friendship, now we know HANSEO could die just to save VINCENZO, he had plenity of times to betray him and live as the CEO, but he never did it

The difference between han seo’s reaction when Vincenzo pats his cheek vs when han seok does it I’m crying. He deserved so much better :’(

Tbh i felt like vincenzo lost a few of his braincells when he thought chayoung was in danger. I mean, no weapon, rlly? And chayoung only got shot at the shoulder, she'd be injured but alive! hanseo was the one hit on the head and shot two times. And before chayoung was shot vincenzo intended to escape with chayoung and leave hanseo behind. Like srsly. Chairman jang AND vincenzo BOTH dont deserve this cinnamon roll😭

IKR whe the scene happened I has like dude you gotta set your priorities straight, if he had helped hanseo with hanseok, 2 vs 1 they would have won, chayoung would not have been shot and hanseo would not be death, chayoung wasn’t even injured, hanseo was she was just tied up, they could have taken the gun from hanseok and then untie chayoung.

@@tsenguunz6882 tbh even if vincenzo allowed hanseo to call him brother, he didnt even treat him like one aside from the occasional smiles and meetups at restaurants (maybe coz of him being a mafia, but still). And he didnt even hesitate to leave Hanseo behind and escape with Chayoung. And he didnt even show regret or sadness at Hanseo's dying moments... Which.. makes me think that Hanseo was just Vincenzo's pawn to be sacrificed in his "game of chess" with Jang Hanseok.

I love his development so much. Didn't thought much about him in the begging but he proved himself now. He wanted to change and he did. I hope he gets to be happy in the end. This is masterpiece!!!

I love hanseo so much ! He didn't deserve a brother like that... when he finally got himself a real hyung, he died trying to save him :(

the parallels you made in this edit..... gorgeous. han seok failed han seo in so many ways as a big brother and still expected loyalty from him, then had the nerve to be surprised when han seo gave it to vincenzo instead. han seo's journey to escape the abuse and find his own family and happiness is one of the high lights of this drama for me!

@@jaylasuel-4778 me too, Vincenzo definitely had the time to do first aid on him, yet he’s busying checking on chayoung, who’s only got shot in the shoulder, much less severe than hanseo, who’s literally dying in the corner. If u rewatch, Vincenzo didn’t even bother to go near him until hanseo calls him hyung... kind of disappointed. Still hoping he’s alive tho

Yeah, Vincenzo could have thrown something to Han Seok or attack him but no he chose to stays with Chayoung and let Han Seo die.

A lot of people will disagree with me but Vincenzo didn’t deserve Hanseo’s loyalty. He just saw him as someone disposable and didn’t even acknowledge his sacrifice for them. The only time Vincenzo mentioned Han Seo was when he was talking to Han seok and he mentioned him as “Your Brother”, it pissed me off so much that the guy who died to save your and your girlfriend’s useless lives is reduced to nothing but Han seok’s brother?

He's raised as a mafia and grown with his adopted brother trying to kill him at every chance he gets. And his hands are not clean. Those people tend to be guarded. I doubt he cared deeply for FL's father either.

Agree but in that was in the beginning. I think over time they started to get more closer because in the flashback Vincenzo literally invites him over to his place to have lunch.

@@Sea-lm6lt exactly. Over time. He doesn't easily just get close to anyone. Tho he is tamed compare to the other mafia he grew up with, he still has the guarded senses that was drilled into him. His interaction with this "brother" is too short to develop a brotherly feeling just yet. Not to mention he's from the other camp.

He literally is my fav since the beginning. I was crying when he died and i was angry at vincenzo for not helping him fight babo at the scene and only cares for cha young. I know he secretly cares for han seo, vincenzo let him into his circle of trusted friends but my bb doesnt deserve that kind of ending. 😭😭 I wanna see him smiling always.

I'd like to think he'll live another life, and in the life Vincenzo will get to be his brother for all of it. Damn. His death hurts. I'll dream that they get to act together again AS brothers lol, in a drama that's happy for both of them.

his character showed sm growth, man he really didnt deserve the ending they gave him. hate me all you want, but i could've cared less if cha-young had died instead. han seo deserved better )):

This is one of the best sad edits I've seen yet. Honestly I understand writers making characters that we should hate in the beginning and giving them this redemption arc that makes us fall in love with them-- but killing him off felt so unnecessary. I get the emotion behind it, but even after killing him off I feel like they did him dirty. I felt like we should've had a memorial scene, a burial scene, a cremation scene-- something. It kinda felt like after the initial shock of killing him, they just kinda brushed off the rest. Such an amazing show, such great acting, he deserved better )':

I became interested in Vincenzo after watching a scene of Hanseo even tho he isn't one of the main roles. Kwak Dong Yeon was the youngest among the cast and still gave us such an heart-breaking performance at the same level as his other co-workers. I hope he gets main roles soon cuz he definitely deserves them, he has a versatility hard to find.

I love him so much, at first I was not sure about him, but then as he and developed threw out the series and grew so much to up until he began to think for himself, made me very happy you found brother hood and family in the process of growing and think for himself, I love when I see the process how a character grows and becomes very mature, the was my favorite character development I have ever see in my life, as he grew he made grow loving his character, his acting skills are really good he is very talented, I grew very fond of the younger brother, so seeing him in a traumatizing situation and how scard he look made my heart break, I really hope he does not die he is to much of an important character I would cry if I saw die. 🥺😢😭💔🥺💞

Since they didn't do justice for HanSeo, it's up for the fans to do so... so here is mine... I like to imagine that he had quite a small funeral, perhaps away from any tabloids or any unwanted attention. And that after that year that passed, when Vincenzo finally comes back for a little while, the very first place he visits is where his little brother is now resting... with a picture of him smiling bright and carefree. Only to leave his trademark behind, - a golden lighter - as a token of their unfinished promise and for the sacrifice that he will always hold in his mind and heart. For the atonement the younger faced in his last decision to turn that gun around to him and not into the air, and to take that final bullet of redemption. For his sins, for his freedom. To save lives at the risk of his own. Because HanSeo did not die in vain, only to be forgotten. He died, protecting his Vinnie hyung.

I love Hanseo, his brotherhood with Vincenzo but sadly he died, R.I.P Hanseo! You are a really good character and helped a lot Vincenzo

I teared up when I saw the parallels and realised just why han seo considered vincenzo his true brother. The tie, ice skating and patting parallel vividly described how the relationships differed. This is such a good edit.

Was so sad when he died. T_T He is the only character I really worried about all the time, I was panicking so much when I thought that he betrayed Vincenzo and so relieved when he didn't. And honestly, in the death scene I was shouting at the screen the whole time, I was like: Vincenzo, save him! There are people other than the female lead you must protect! T-T

Most people blame vincenzo, I blame the writer. LoL. Seriously, the writer didnt need to kill han seo, and yet they did.

They gave him so much funny and heartwarming moments just to let us love him more and let us suffer more.I was in love with him, he was so funny and pure hearted. His smile.. it was everything. Everytime i saw him on screen i couldn't stop smiling... ´I have you. You´re gonna save me from all those bad guys, right? Finally when Hanseo felt safe and felt like Vincenzo was a brother to him, he died. I cried my eyes out. My heart hurts so much till this day. It just hurts.. Knowing he suffered so fucking much and not getting the happy ending he said he wanted. He was good person born into the wrong family.. He didn't deserve this kind of pain. But.. he died in a beautiful way.. he was a hero... ´A Decision I Won't Regret..´ Thank you, my angel

When he became closer to Vincenzo I felt that something would happen to either of them. When he called him "hyung" I knew that he would not survive the ending. Sadly this is the "rule" of this genre in kdramas. I really hoped that "Vincenzo" would be an exception but not. He was a really scared person and all he ever needed was love and right people in his life, his character development was the best in the whole series and after all that he really didn't deserve this ending. Well okay, even if they decided to kill him why couldn't they have done it properly like how on earth Vincenzo was sitting there looking how he alone was fighting with that psychopath. Okay, Charyeon was shot but it was clear after several moments that it was not fatal. Vincenzo had many opportunities to act and attack Han Seok and help Han Seo but noo, our director decided that the poor boy had to die and Vincenzo should sit there like a statue. Besides they didn't even showed his funeral no one mourned his death after all his help. Everything about his death is pure disappointment to me. He deserved better. RIP Han Seo😔 you will always be in our hearts 😔

This edit is so beautifully done. The parallels. The pacing. The music. Also, idk why but the tone of line at the beginning when he says "had two sons" sounds entirely different here than in the show. It's as if he's about to narrate a sad story and not giving an egotistical identity reveal PowerPoint presentation. Its such a good intro for such a good edit.

I don't think I've ever cried this much before.

He was one of my favorite characters, i'm mad about his dead, but i think that his dead was necessary to show his character's growth. From a fragile guy scared and abused by his brother, to a brave man who sacrifice his own life and choose to die for his friends. In my opinion, this is the beauty of his character! Ps: Sorry for my English, i'm Italian. 🙏🏼😊
