Janet Lennon discusses her time on The Lawrence Welk Show from 1955 to 1968
Janet Lennon made her debut on The Lawrence Welk as part of “The Lennon Sisters” on Christmas Eve 1955 with sisters Peggy, Kathy, and Dee Dee. The quartet’s high school classmate, Larry Welk, son of Lawrence Welk brought them to the attention of his father. Welk who was sick in bed at the time, was so impressed that he immediately booked them for that week's show.

Love her and her and her sisters. So beautiful.
Very glad to see an interview with the adult version of the Lennon sister that always came through as the baby of the sister act!
Janet hasn’t changed in looks! Loved her and her sisters growing up.
This is such a treat 😊 I love the Lennon Sisters, especially Janet - Her talent shone at such a young age 👏🇬🇧
At sixteen years old I was totally in love with her ( along with countless other teens)
December 2023 👍❤️🇨🇦
