It comes as no surprise that Michael Jackson was and still is huge, but the global craze had started in 1980s. To get out of that shadow and be able to make a mark of her own wasn't easy and she did it despite sooo many ups and downs especially in 2004! Janet Jackson is an underrated legend and deserves all the love and honors. She is the real Queen of Pop.

that's what we all wanted, but I 100% respect janet's decision to work with her brother only once. I honestly think in recent years, had Michael still been with us, they would have done something together. but Michael asked her a few times, during the rhythm nation and janet eras to do a duet, she kindly declined because she was still proving herself at that time, despite having massive success and didnt want people to think she was trying to ride his coattails. by the time they did scream, she was already a pop icon, so she made a great decision to wait. I know Michael and janet were incredibly close, they supported each other so much, janet had so much to prove being his sister and she's far from just his sister, a legend who is now in the rock n roll hall of fame. amazing.

Scream was massive. And the perfect combination of both styles. Even down to the choreography. I say it was simply beautiful to see them work together. I think it was better left at that. It's one of the most iconic moments in music and a huge moment in history. The song's hard hitting beat and breakdown will always be remembered. How did one family have so much talent that it totally changed the landscape of music and music- video making is insanity. It was a different era.

She's a really strong woman and an incredible artist. Imagine having a music career that spans more than 40 years is a difficult feat to achieve . And the best thing about her is that she's still very much grounded and in touch with her spirituality.

It's the humility for me

It's just the basic fact this historical, phenomenal, grounbreaking and achievable woman escaped the clutches of her brother shadows and created a legacy of her own like no other who would have know we would be honored with another successful Jackson? While her brother was dominating the music industry Janet came in full force and kicked down doors and took music to whole another level Janet started from scratch and worked her way to success and now is one of the biggest names in history her legacy already been fulfilled now you see everyone wants to be like her and copying her she's the blueprint a all time great.

So well deserving she should have been in years ago.

Watching this video and seeing Brian May in the audience made me think that if the rest of Queen was to do an album with a load of guest vocalists a track with Janet would be something we never thought we needed but would be fire.

So pretty much the Jackson family are the first family to be inducted into the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame
