@tim1843 good enough is a lot different.than big enough. I agree they're not big enough. Good enough? Honestly janes addiction only even had a couple of records total. And perry Farrell has never been able to sing on key, not once. He'd have to pay Ian for singing lessons. And there's nothing on the guitar Navarro can do that Ian can't. Jane's was a huge influence on most of my.friends growing up. I liked them too. I did not see enough material to make them equal their hype though

I first heard this song on MTV when I was 6, almost 20 years ago. I was absolutely in love with it, but I couldn't get the name, and at the time I didn't speak english. So I never heard it again, but the rhythm and the riffs stayed in my head to this day. I spent 20 years searching for this song here in KZread, but I could never find it. Until yesterday, I was getting a tattoo, and this song played in the studio, and with the magic of Shazam, I was finally able to find out the goddamn name. Thank you technology, thank you Jane's Add!

It's a criminally underrated song.

One of the most slickest productions. Soundtrack is perfect. Drums crisp and clear, solid bass line, and Navarros guitar track is beautifully laid down. Hands down one of my favorite videos

Radio has always been a hit-and-miss affair. Today is amazing for a music lover, screw the radio, if you have your own taste and you know what you like, then the world is at your fingertips with all the media choices, but I guess at the same time there's too much choice, and it can have an adverse effect on some folk.

I come back here every few months for a boost. This song is like a B-12 shot.

When I was a kid I called in to my local radio station and won this CD in a contest. However, when they found out I was a minor they wouldn’t let me claim my prize. My mom felt sorry for me and bought this CD for me at Walmart. So yeah, that’s what this song always reminds me of, lol.

You know, Jane's Addiction went from pretty awesome to absolutely friggin' amazing and no one noticed because the suits at the record labels swept it under the rug of the idiotic pop nonsense they continue to push to this day. It's pretty disappointing that they never got their true due. They are absolutely incredible and I wish more people could hear their awesomeness!!

I loved how this song and album came out of nowhere in 2003 and proved Jane's Addiction could still rock it into the 21st century!

This is my favorite Jane's song.

Just Diane, me too. I saw them in Cleveland with Living Color, Ice Cube and 12 hours after coming through the gates, they went on stage close to midnight and absolutely crushed it! I remember feeling completely energized like I was electricuted with all my friends even without any drugs and laughed my asrse off when a couple behind me left when the girl was offended by something Perry after said after the 1st song and the look on her whipped boyfriends face rolling his eyes in defeat was like, "seriously, we are leaving now?" ;)

Do you ever hear a brand new song and instantly fall in love with it? Because that just happened to me.

From a cinematography standpoint, the band chose reflective instruments, which is a nightmare for filming. But, the Director and cinematographer made it work. Much respect.

Listening to this song makes me think of when I was 19 years old. Howard Stern would end its broadcast on KUFO and this song would play and there I am, lying in my bed in my room in my parents house, staring at the ceiling contemplating my existence like some dystopian nightmare...23 years later I wonder where the hell the time went....

Still the best Rock song of all time in my opinion and I have been playing since the 60's

I can remember in 1989 my senior year of High School. A friend and I went to an 18 and older club in Dayton Ohio (Jaspers). We went to see a band called Tripe and the club announced they had a special appearance from a band called Jane's Addiction. We were like "who". I remember when they came on stage, my first take was like wtf.. Then they opened with this MONSTROUS bass riff, and Perry screamed, COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN... I instantly looked at my buddy and said, "Music is about to change for the better". Only about 50 people there. Greatest early experiences ever.

This is such an epic song. Been learning how to play it on guitar and it just kicks butt!

THE BEST BAND…. No one rocks like Jane. Saw them live 1990 in SF…. wow. No one is better imho.

This is just blisteringly brilliant, Navarro and Farrel are an awesome team.

Nothing's Shocking is the greatest collection of songs ever put out. It raised the bar too high. While I love this one too, it's hard not to compare it to Nothing.

I use to listen to these guys the band for years in glad the next 2 generations still find joy and fulfillment within the cause of existing enjoyment times

Living a dream on Monday October 24 in Toronto - seeing Jane's Addiction at 42 years old. To say I cannot wait is a fucking understatement. WAAHOOOOO!!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
