Leakey chose three students at that time later known as the Trimates. Jane with Chimpanzees, Dian Fossey (RIP) with Gorillas and last but by no means least Birute Galdikas with Orangutans (my hero, working with the "tamest" of the chosen primates studied). Together yet individually they physically built and started the primate rehab centers of today from the ground up. All three Trimates found happiness, love, caring and respect from their charges. We should ALL learn from them. We should ALL be so fortunate. 🐒 🦧 🦍 🕊️

Jane came to visit in my city just a few weeks ago. Tickets sold out in no time flat. There is a huge audience for her and her message. I was not fortunate enough to attend, but the fact that women is still travelling around in 2024 is incredible. This was an awesome documentary.

This documentary was beautiful and heartwarming! ❤ I have the utmost admiration and respect for Ms. Gooddall and her accomplishments. I absolutely loved seeing the history of Jane's research and life. The video had amazing foottage of the Chimpanzees, really showing their personalities, interpersonal relationships, and group behavior. It gave deeper understanding of the research done here and continuing to this day. Of course, I am a huge fan of National Geographic as well. Thank you for bringing us the life of Jane!! ❤

Straight up "legend" ❤. What a awesome woman. Beautiful in every way. There comes a time when one realises, one must leave school to further ones education. Academics think they have all the answers because they dont come to realise that their beliefs have been given to them, whether those beliefs are right or wrong. They then have the short sightedness to scoff at others who have actual experience.

I was a child at the time this began. I remember people constanly trying to correct me about animals. They pretty much thought animals were NPC mobs put there by a deity for our use. My own father tried to convince me. But, you see, I could *hear them think.* I still can. I also refused to let people convince me it was my imagination. I cultivated the skill instead. I can't prove it, but I won't disbelieve it.
