2014 Yellow Tail Pinot Noir that I picked up in 2022… simply marvelous.

In my 40 years of wine consumption my best wines were Petrus 1949 and Cheval Blanc 1950. Difficult to say which one was the best wine. They were both awesome.

Chateau Pichon Lalande 1990, Volnay Caillerets 2009 from Christophe Vaudoisey, Chateau Pichon Baron 2016 at the Chateau. I still have a bit of each in the cellar. NV Berry Brother’s Twenty Year Old Tawny, made by Noval, absolutely ravishing.

JL Chave Cuvée Cathelin 2003 i think it was, Roumier Bonne Mares 1997, Penfolds Kalimna Block 42 2004, Henri Bonneau Cuvée Celestins 1999, Clape Cornas 2010
