@@fuzznutz7182because she plays jazz fusion not rock. It’s not a popular genre. Any bass player with experience playing this style of music and has ears can tell she’s insanely good. I’m sure Geddy Lee would commend her skills himself because he’s not dense like you are
Very high professionalism. Although I don't like constructed music, especially if its "not cantabile music" But I have to say this is a very interesting piece of music.

Different styles, different type of music. James Jamerson will not be able to play like her just as she could not play like him. James learned on a stand up bass as electric bass was still a new thing (was it even invented when he first started learning?) . It's an apples to Orange comparison

Wow that's an interesting composition. YES, the band can shred--but nowadays who can't? I heard the song and I heard focus on musicality, not chops. That's so refreshing!! I really enjoyed this! Mohini Dey, you do you, man! Everything I've listened to of yours seems to have some individuality. Not just shredding for shredding's sake. Dude--that is SOOO nice for my ears to hear in today's music scene
