I know Jamiroquai are massive, but I feel that they don’t get the true recognition they deserve, such a talented band and Jay Kay’s vocals are superb. Love their sound.

It takes something special to take a genre from 20-30 years before and not only do it justice but make some absolute classics in their own right. Not many could do it without being cringe or cliche…JayKay is a genius 🙌

What a dancer he is. Elegant, knows how to control his moves and lines. Music is brilliant too... why? Because he understands music and dance - simply born with it, like James Brown, Prince and MJ.

This album meant a lot to me. I was living in Vegas doing Blue Man Group. I had lost my will to work and my mind was slipping. I felt my life drooping like a Dali painting with clocks. Then I got this CD from the store. They still had CD stores back then. I don't know if they do anymore, but as soon as I heard songs like this and Love Foolosophy I just felt some kind of positive force go through my soul. This music represented a fresh air to my spirit when it had become deadened through drugs and stultifying Vegas routine. I never saw this video at the time, but it's great. I love the dancers and the roller skaters. Love Jamiroquai.

Proof their music is truly timeless: their songs always sound new and fresh. They never sound outdated. Maybe it’s just my love for jazz-funk, but their sound is so refined and euphoric. People should be playing music like this on the radio, not this shitty modern pop music that all sounds the same. There’s a few things we can all agree on I hope

@@user-qn5kh2tz2r I'm not doubting it might have missed accolades, but trust that this music was DEFINITELY popular back when it released. I'm 33 about to be 34. Jamiroquai was everywhere. The issue is that it was actually considered a watered down product as it was more pop friendly than a lot of the other house/disco/dance music influenced music that was around. So it wasn't alternative enough to gain cred long term in genrephiles repertoire (apart from club friendly DJ's) and didn't make enough of a dent in the mainstream to translate as strongly into the popular consicousness. Sorry to go bananas on the analysis, i just love discussing music.

NOBODY does it like Jamiraquoi! Serious fire...every song...never sounds dated...never gets old 😍😍🙌💪🔥🔥🔥

I can remember where I heard this for the first time, in 2001 or early 2002. Interestingly I recognised that it's Jamiroquai, though I wouldn't have been able to name any of their other songs. Needless to say I became a fan at that moment. Saw them live for the first and so far only time in 2003. Such a different time and a different me, but this song hasn't aged.

I grew up listening to jamiroquai and we played him at my baby's 6th bday party this February! She likes seven days it's her favorite! Let's pass on this great music to the next generation!!
