I have been searching for this song for 25 years!!! First heard in 1999 on a Paris pop radio station, but never knew the artist. I had narrowed it down to "sounds like" Daft Punk, but none of their songs matched my memory of a retro-disco roller rink sound. Thanks to The Crown S6 Ep7, I felt the immense joy and satisfaction of a mystery solved. (Also, now know that a Daft Punk band member recorded this on a side project.) Aces all around!!

The rumor goes that Thomas disbanded the band because it was getting too popular and he did not want to take away too much from Daft Punk, I'm guessing because Discovery was on the way. It's pretty cool that the prototype to this song was just an impro one night in a club...

zug the thing is this song wasn’t even planned to be made it was made for a event so they made this song last minute. And btw a daft punk member(Thomas Bangalter) produce and wrote the song along with Alan Braxe

One of the duo was in Daft Punk mate - this was kind of a side project. A year later he went back to his friend in DP and they released the superb album Discovery.

maybe in a few year we cant hear legally the music because GTA only have contracts for 10 years with all music in your radios, with future updates rockstar can delete all the old songs for evoid legal issues about music licences
