I personally like that the crowd isn't going crazy, its the equivalent of you and your friends chilling, having a few drinks, etc, all the while Jamie XX is playing an amazing set. There is a very personal feel to The Boiler Room & I for one can't see a problem with the crowd not going wild, enjoy the vibes and nothing more, I know I am :)

Watching everyone hustle around between the dancers hooking things up left and right always gives me a kick. And the DJs right in the middle of it all doing his thing!

Its been 5 years.. still one of my favorites ❤️

Still listening to this on repeat years after!

I've been addicted to these boiler room sets the last few weeks. Just when i thought i couldn't get any better, this.

The mixing in this set is insane.

I remember seeing The XX in 2014 at the Park Avenue Armory, and at that time, I had just gotten into the band so my focus was more on the singers, Oliver and Romy. I remember meeting Oliver personally, then once that one-on-one meeting was finished, I saw Jamie walking up the armory's corridor, several moments later, on the first floor. We had brief eye contact before he walked up the stairs to the second level of the building. In that moment, I was like, "Oh, it's Jamie," because I wasn't too much of a fan for him like I was Oliver. But, now, as time progressed, I found that I really enjoy his music, the music that is separate from The XX. I grew to like him for him and not just the other member of The XX. I hope he continues to have a successful career, and I can't wait for The XX's new album! Jamie's supposed to be performing at the armory this year, hopefully I can get tickets *sigh/fingers crossed*

At leasts its clean audio with no clipping. I'll take clean at a slightly lower volume than clipping any day of the week.

Far from clear audio , listen at around 5:00 min, its clipping all the time you can hear it, and even see it on the VU meters.. can't understand, a pro dj like Jamie doesn't turn the gain down a bit.

I disagree, it clips rather nastily.. see around 5:00mins the sound is horrible and you can even see in the mixer how it's clipping all the time.. I can't believe how they keep those volume levels so up.
