Friends from church lost their 17 year old son this past week…they just called and asked if I knew a song by Jars of Clay called ‘All My Tears’ and if I’d sing it at Elijah’s memorial on Sat…I’d never heard it, but in looking it up, I found this! I can't tell you how much this comforts me. My husband passed away last spring. He was a country boy at heart and wanted his ashes spread on his favorite flyfishing river in the high mountains of Utah. His ashes are now part of that beautiful river but he is finally free from pain and suffering and with our Lord in heaven.

This song really hit hard . So beautiful 😭

It brings the light of Jesus' face into the heart, and beckons a soul to contemplate the sweet advantages of the life to come, where no pain, sorrow or tears will interpose between the soul and effervescent joy. I've looked at all the versions to play this song myself. I love all of them but this is one of my favourites. I've written out a version to play - I just need to learn it by heart. Thaks for this song. I Broke into tears when I heard this song. I've been struggling with my moms recent passing. When I heard this song chills came over my body with a warm calm feeling and I couldn't help but think that maybe in some spiritual way she had you write this song for me to hear assuring me that she is with her father in heaven and that she is ok. She was a true Christian and loyal to her father. Raised me in church and taught me to be the man I am today. Thank you Mr Johnson for this song it has truly helped
