James Vowles Removes Logan Sargeant From Aussie Grand Prix

Спорт

In a surprising turn of events at the Australian Grand Prix, Williams Racing has made the tough decision to withdraw Logan Sargeant from the race weekend after his teammate, Alex Albon, encountered a crash during the first free practice session (FP1). The incident left Albon's FW46 chassis beyond repair, and with no spare chassis available, the team opted to allocate Sargeant's car to Albon for the remainder of the Grand Prix in a bid to maximize their points haul.
This video delves into the intricate details surrounding this unexpected decision by Williams Racing. Team Principal James Vowles expressed his gratitude towards Sargeant for his understanding and team spirit in the face of such a challenging situation. Albon, on the other hand, recognized the difficulty of the circumstances, emphasizing the need to focus on the upcoming sessions to ensure the team's best performance.

Honestly do Williams think they will win points? You might as well have Logan drive.

Weak, way to tell your young driver that you think nothing of him. Being punished for someone else's mistake, maximize points? your team is a place filler...
