They also scrapped the WORKING, very well organised and arguably world leading track and trace system the NHS had run for decades shortly before Covid hit as part of a cost saving measure with their obsession of stripping funding and resources away from our public services. Then tried to replace it with... whatever that shambolic attempt was that we saw.

I refuse to believe he was critically ill, especially when the media slipped up and said he was in the ICU but "not on a ventilator". Days after he was discharged, my Aunt (who's a nurse in intensive care) noted there was no way he'd be back on his feet with colour in his skin pigment, talking without needing to stop for breath. He was probably being observed in hospital, but the rest was a Tory PR stunt for the "Thoughts & Prayers" mob to support him after making a total mess of handling the pandemic.

You missed a big one. The throwing of his hapless press secretary under the bus. The more I watch the infamous video the more I see someone, not disrespecting the public but laughing in incredulous exasperation at what was going on and the spinning she was having to achieve.Recognise that laugh in myself when , as an English teacher, I had to explain some new piece of government interference to my team.

@@1gerard47 sorry, Gerard, I see I wasn’t clear. Well you asked for it. Just one example. The labour Government spent £400 per head on IT training for teachers. When it materialised it consisted of an interactive cd each. The twelve members of my department each recieved their own copy at a total cost of £4800. I had to explain to the team that this was what the money had been spent on and that no one seemed to care about the money that could have been spent on resources if we had shared one and that they were expected to spend 21 hours of their own time, unpaid, to complete the course in one month. They asked questions and I laughed, not with contempt for the children deprived of resources or insensitivity to the exploitation of the teachers or the squandering of taxes or the misleading of the general public, but at the unacceptable ridiculousness of the situation. In the sound of that press secretary’s laughter I hear only an echo of my own helpless incredulity. The more I watch her the more I think she was very poorly treated by Boris and the Media.

So many open goals and yet they sit there quietly in the background with the occasional half hearted attack. It’s very frustrating that the only way they the Conservatives will lose the electorate, is due to high energy bills and inflation that directly hits people in the pocket and their own incompetence in not dealing with it, rather than the opposition’s skill in unseating them.

They've concentrated so much on making life easier and better for themselves They've totally forgot about the country. And yes this goes for brexit too. I could go on but you're right everything you've said here. The fact you've listed ALL of these things just proves this party is TOTALLY useless for Britain and in some respects our allies.
