The fact that this masterpiece of a a song has only 1.6K views and two comments is a travesty to music. James McMurtry is a treasure. His lyrics and musical progressions fill me with emotion like no other.

How the radio can saturated with so much meaningless, superficial crap and nobody besides a privileged few know about artists like James McMurtry is a riddle that I can’t seem to figure out. He is epic. Epic.

That's the line that makes this song amazing.
"I still need to feel every once in a while, the warmth of a smile and a touch"
Ok genuinely this is the song my partner and I dance to in the kitchen while making dinner and it is our code for "I love you" when sharing headphones on the bus. Love this song and story and artist.
A genius and one of kind...Joni with a drawl! Love it.
Awesome song, and fantastic performance! Always delivers.,..
Just saw him in Piitsburgh this weekend for the 30th plus time. Venue only held 140 people. Great show as always.
This song is truly amazing. He's got a bunch of them.
Always had room for more 😎
Saw him in Boone, NC awhile back. Damn good show. Hell of gee tar player too. Loved it. Truly outstanding....
Last week, the girl in my phone decided I needed to hear this song and now I can’t stop listening to it. So many powerful, profound images!
Brilliant as always.
