I really don't believe Southgate is as big of an issue as most make it out to be. I wouldn't be against getting rid of him, but I don't think he's done a terrible job so far

What should it be? England players should be relaxed and enjoy wearing the England shirt, the England squads in the 2000s seemed crushed by the pressure of the shirt. Look at the results. England are consistently a top 5 team in the world, we have never achieved that level of performance in the modern era (80s and later). We have only lost to the elite teams by the finest of margins.

@@themanwithnothingtolosehow are England not a top 5 team. The top 5 include, not in any order, France, Croatia, Argentina, then you’re starting to struggle for who would even take the 4th spot. Based on recent success you’d have to say Italy, though Germany, Spain and Brazil are likely better than them currently. So how does England not take a spot when we’ve reached the final of a Euros, semi-final of a World Cup and have the players we have at our disposal? Criticise Gareth all you want, there’s no denying the success we’ve had with him and it’s only going to get better with the players getting better.
