That is correct George!
What's REALLY amazing is how the performers hardly change .... from as early as 2000 to when they finally disbanded after Last's demise. No one stays in an ensemble that long unless they really love being there.
Looky yonder comin', comin' down that railroad track...It's the Orange Blossom Special, bringin' my baby back.
Nobody is better than JAMES LAST ........ he was, he is and he will be FOREVER the King of Sound and Party.
Great music R.I.P JAMES when ever I listen to you music I go back to my teens
Fantastic !!!
One of the happiest tunes I have ever heard. ❤

Long before André Rieu, there was James Last. His popularity often preceded him. RIP, Hansi..
How nice that women musicians are still used and permitted to be tokens in the live music industry.
magical, magical, magical!! im 35 and most people i know wouldnt have a clue who James Last is,thank god ive been listening to his albums since i was six. This is music at its best, all that talent in one place. wish i had been there!
No-one who plays and enjoys music like this should ever pass on.
I can't put in words how this makes me feel i wished i saw this long time ago 🔊🎻🎻🎻🎻🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺🎷🎷🎷🎶
Every time this video pops up I have to play it, it perks me up
I hadn't thought about James Last for years until today. Pulled this KZread clip up, played this song and it brought back happy memories of his music. The current Andre Rieu brings us much of the same joy in a somewhat similar manner.
This music is way better than the Rubbish they play today. It beats everything ever.

That groove - The phrasing of the violins. It's a masterpiece and should be shown to anyone who studies music. And to top it all off, the trumpeters hold their beer in their left hand and walk through the audience. I wish this time back. Carefree and full of joy for life🙂
James Last took over where Mantovani left off. He is spectacular and especially when he includes other great artists.
If this song ends and you don't have a smile across your face.....😲.....then listen AGAIN and just enjoy the song, the happiness, and the FANTASTIC way music can chase away worries, stress, loneliness, you name it. Learn to let music take OVER! 🙂🙂
What can I say..........the happiest music ever.
Absolutely beautiful. Great song and talent combined.
If that rendition didn't knock your cap in the creek, nothing will!!
Wonderful. My Dad was a big fan of James Last.
He was fantastic absolutely most enjoyable I had the pleasure of being at 3 concerts ohhhh and he and his team never disappointed may he rest in peace
You can't hide love in a place where love is. You can't stop love.
James Last and Andre Rieu are the only two that I listen to. I only wish I had known about these two years ago! I have both of them on my MIX list!

En 2024 les concerts de James Last nous manquent, 😊😊😊😊😊😊
You can't stop moving. Wonderful. Love from Italy
When a large steam engines boiler was operating at top potential it made a harmonic resonance through it’s firebox air intake over coal grates. Known as “ drumming “ it was an unmistakable sound of raw power. This tune sounds like the old girl when she’s pulling her train in top form.
This music makes me and my wife very happy, my eyes and ears were greatly pleased with this music, thanks.
Had never seen such Happy Orchestra!!! The Composition Was Mind Blowing Also...
Whenever I feel bad and blue I listen to this James Last version, I am back in life immediately and than pray for James Last’s soul, this is the best version ever ❤

The special sort of "spin" that only James and his entourage can give this classic!
You can't tell me that your feet stayed still. Thanks Hansi. You will never be forgotten*
It would be impossible to improve this performance. I can’t even guess how many times I’ve watched this.
What a beautifull maker of Happy people thanks FROM CARLOS PORTUGAL
I love when Roy Clark played it also, RIP to both
Rest in peace Father thanks for the music and love Saturday's with James last never forget
Great to see people having fun.
I'm not but 57. And I remember the orange blossom special. Real well. My kind of. Music
I never knew my granddad but from what my dad told me, that he was an excellent fiddler and played at all the dances in the neighborhood back a long time ago. He was a soldier in the CSA and had told my dad that he never fired a shot when they were up against the yanks of Maryland, because he had a lot of kin folks there.
20 years ago and I am still enjoying James Last's music!
How could anyone sit while this was played!
02:25 Trumpet in one hand, beer in the other. That scene turned this video from great, to COLOSSAL!
Perfect. James last was the best. The music is wonderful
No one can put on a good show like James Last does.. He spotlights not just his band but the audience as well. At 81 he still rocks.
Oh!! Wow,, haven't heard this in. Years!!
How can you not like that. A feel good song that makes you want to get up and dance

@@littlejoe9000 that’s fascinating! He worked hard and played hard! Do you remember what music you recorded?
@littlejoe9000
2 жыл бұрын
@@superlast It's difficult to remember, because in that time I made a lot of music and have now at least six moving boxes with sheets, some things are even lost after that long time. It's a pity, I don't have the original sheets from the session. They have been collected at the end and I didn't had the opportunity for copies. I even don't know, whether the recordings were published or not. We played some music from the Beach Party recordings, and I can remember the song Daydream Believer., because it is one of my favorites. Perhaps I find some personal notes, but all is so long ago.
