Few points to mention in this case is 1) When sentencing was going on, Kraig requested his parents to take care of Sean his son and he said to them that 'Take care of Sean so he is not raised by bunch of freaks' referring to relatives of his wife who is caring for the boy. 2) He made some sarcastic remarks under his breath when his deceased wife' sister was talking in the court like once she was saying that after sentencing, she can go outside and enjoy the day then craig said 'a beautiful sunny day outside' then when she was mentioning her trip with sister, he said 'and with Sunny too'. 3) Two notes were passed to the judge before sentencing which were written by Sean saying 'I don't want my dad to get death penalty because it would be hard on my grandparents' and 'I do not want my whole family to gone'. Defense attorneys said Sean Kahler was given an opportunity to appear at the sentencing but declined. However, they said he hadn’t changed his opinion that his father shouldn't be sentenced to death. Still death sentence was finalized. 4) He didn't show any remorse for killing his family. He and his parents were emotionless when death sentence was finalized.

If he was truly all that broken due to Karen's betrayal, he would have never suggested that he was entitled to have sex with the other woman too. what truly drove him crazy was when the relationship his wife had with another woman didnt work in the way that could pleasure him, as he had hoped. As for what Karen did, its understandable considering how controlling and abusive james was, maybe she found a kindred soul in Sunny, someone who she felt gave her the love she couldnt get from James, yet she was willing to let go of it, for her children. The murder was defenitely all James" fault, Karen's actions might have contributed to this, but it was never her fault that james chose to get a gun and shoot down her and their daughters intending to kill them. This is my liberal outlook, Karen was already a victim of James long before he murdered her. Her actions were definitely not right, but understandably justifiable. James' actions on the other hand were never justifiable nor right. He wasn"t a jealous psycho, he was just a pathetic abusive man who killed his family.

No wonder James was an egoistic, controlling and a dominant person, but Karen had more issues here. First she was dating a women even when she was married, that's quite f'ed up. Also, during the vacations, Sean was taken away from James who was James only moral support. With so much going on with a person, a normal person couldn't handle it anymore, me too. I am not defending James Kraig, but I think Karen and especially Sunny had publicly insulted and embarrassed him. Three of them, Sunny, Karen and James are responsible for this. The fact that the two innocent daughters were also oofed in this act, breaks my heart.

This case make me sad what is wrong between but be good person is also difficult 😔
